Hey Krikles,

Looking forward to meeting you at Bev Beach. My wife and I looked at a Caravel first, but it was just too much $$ for us. They are really cool though. 65', good year too!

Aaron

Hi Aaron,
Your dog is adorable!
I'm having lots of fun fixing up the Caravel -they're cool little trailers. Tho I'm glad I didn't know how much money I'd have to put into it before I bought it. But most of the projects are a do it once then not again for years and years - I hope. Bev Beach will force me to complete them all before the trip so I'm really looking forward to it. I just hope I'll be able to figure out the most basic aspects of setting up to camp... my newbieness will be obvious! Safaris are great - and it must be nice to have that extra bit of room! Can't wait to see yours and meet you guys!

We have decided on what we are going to bring to the Bash. If you could Janet please add this to the list. Now that we have all of our ducks in line, it's time to hurry up and wait.

Sat: garlic bread & appetizer/munchie
Sun: rolls and coffee

Thanks,
Robert

Thank you. Yeah, he is a pug-something mix and is a good boy. I too was unaware of the costs. My first parts order was mucho $$. And the trip to my local Department of Motor Vehicles wasn't cheap either. But, I must still be blinded by the shiny aluminum because I'm still enjoying it, despite the cost. Good luck in getting your Airstream projects complete!

Aaron

P.S. I think the veterans will be understanding of our newbiness; they seem like a fantastic group.

Hope you can handle 2 more complete Airstream/rally newbies! My husband and I just bought our '53 Flying Cloud less than a week ago. It is a project so won't be even close to "done" yet, but can't wait to try it out.

We have reserved space G37.

Here's what we can bring:

Friday - Brownies
Sat. - Lasagna (traditional, but really good!)
Sun - Fruit and/or Juice

Susan and Brad Taylor

WooHoo! Welcome! 2Taylors and others!

We were all "newbies" once! This is a great rally! Rain or shine! Great place to see what others have done to their Airstreams and get ideas! None of us are ever really "finished"... we all have things in our trailers we want to fiddle with. Always another new great idea!

Looking forward to meeting you!

Really looking forward to it!!!
Our first year we came in our teardrop... but it is aluminum... our Bambi was in pieces! Everyone is welcome! The only rules are be nice, and have fun! Welcome! Our first outing with our Bambi was a bare wooden floor and the outside shell! The first trip out is always a big event!

2Taylors,

This is our second rally. All I can say is the Airstreamers are great people. Just relax and have fun.

We have some thing in comin. We also have a 53' Flying Cloud and staying just a couple of site away from each other. I would love to see your layout.

See you at the Rally.

Kids?

Will there be many kids there? I have two boys (age 2 3/4 and 4 1/2) and I was wondering if there would be anyone else around for them to hang out with. This is assuming that there is a site still available, and that I get my rig on Monday as planned.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi All! This will be my first rally and I am really looking forward to it. I will be in space F9... hope it is close enough to the group. I liked the idea of some kind of a identifier with names and screen names. I have gotten so much help on the forums from local people... I would love to meet some of them! Pam

No sense waiting till Tuesday to let you know I found out this morning that I won't be in attendance. DRAT!

I cannot get an appointment changed to a later date and I'm told the side effects from that are highly likely to make distance travel a problem for a few days.

Boy, am I bummed out. It looks like the TCT campout starting tomorrow in Deming could be my last for the season. I may be able to get out for a bit the early part of September but will not know until almost that time. I can always camp out in my backyard if I have to.

Barry, that's a bummer! Maybe next year? For now, we'll just have to make sure you have fun at the TCT rally.
