Robert, Angela and baby Jessica,

Several of us plan on staying beyond Sunday ~ we will be there at least Sunday night. Depends on our schedule and weather... but it is a great campground with lots to do and see in the area!

It will be great to see you again, we sure enjoyed meeting you at Casini Ranch and touring your wonderful Airstream! Folks, this is a 'stream not to miss! There is always clean up help welcome after dinner Sat, or breakfast Sunday! Just PM Janet and she will put you on a sign up list!

See you in Sept!

Hello Everybody,
We are brand new to Airstream, Just bought a '75 Safari this Saturday and thought we could meet fellow Airstreamers if your initiation isn't too harsh! I have a bazillion questions and could use the combined wisdom of you rallyers.
We can post some pictures after we get the hang of this website.
I hope we have properly registered for this event. Please let us know if there's anything else we need to do.
We have reserved F19 for 3 nights.
We look forward to meeting all of you!
Frank & Leslie

Hi Frank and Leslie. You are welcome at Beverly Beach. I fairly certian that rally attendees will be happy to answer your questions, offer advice and generally chew your ear. I'll add you to the list. After you have had a chance to cruise the forums and read this rally thread, poxst your questions. we're generally not short of answers.

I will toss my hand into the ring. I make what some consider a decent dish. Call it, Van's buffalo garlic lasagna.

Claudia,

It was our pleasure to meet you and Don at Casini and taking you ten cent tour of you AS.

This sounds like a great group. It looks like Angela, Jessica and I are going to stop half way, around Yreka for the night before the last half of the trip. Unfortunately we wont arrive till Saturday afternoon. Hopefully just in time for happy hour. We look forward to seeing every one at the beach.

You are right! This is a really GREAT GROUP OF AIRSTREAMERS! It is always fun, fun, fun! Usually it rains [we are all hoping different this year...as it is earlier] but we all brave it under easy ups.... and have a great time!

Looking forward!

Sign me up for potato salad on Friday evening. I've been told that it is darn good. I'll bring plenty. This will by my wife's and my first rally. We just purchased our 'project' airstream two weeks ago: a 66' Safari. We are loving it!! We have also been spending a lot of time cleaning it and fixing/replacing worn out and broken parts--par for the course I understand. I wouldn't have it any other way though. Looking forward to meeting all of you at the rally!

Aaron

Oh, we're in site F16.

Aaron,
Welcome to the forums and will look forward to seeing you both at the rally. It's turning out to be quite a vintage function (trailers that is) ! You'll learn lots from folks.

Hey Frank and Leslie,

Congratulations on the acquisition of your AS! My wife and I are new to the AS world too (we just bought ours two weeks ago). Looking forward to meeting you at the rally.

Thanks for the warm reply. Yeah, I love the vintage trailers. We're really looking forward to this rally: maybe even more than our trip to Disney World next year! See ya at BB.

Soooooo, how late can one find out if they are able to attend and then let you know? I've been watching this evolve enviously since the beginning and trying to move some doctors appointments around so we could get a week in here. Not having success with the visits yet but there's always hope that I can get through them earlier, or get them moved out to later. We've been planning an OR coast trip for some time and were intending to head that way the 7th of Sept but Donna has told her work that if I can get my times swapped we'd be gone later in the month. We would really enjoy meeting everyone.

hi barry

the thing is, september is still high season for oregon parks...

so reserving sites anytime during the month is gonna be spotty for any of the coastal campground on the weekends...

no doubt there will be some cancellations at the last minute or other changes.

there are still some sites available within 200 yards of party central, so i'd make the reservation now.

the park folks can make some adjustments once you are IN the park...

IF someone cancels you can always move in closer or if you can't make it just lose your reservation and first nite fee.

it would be great to meet you at this rally.

this many tubes nestled among the tall pines is gonna be a something.

and this group of folks is really top notch!

camp fire seating will be 2 rows deep, not counting the racoons

as i recall we had 2 auxiliary fires last year, and all were happy.

with the beach, the trees, the local town and the fantastic camp food...

well it's gonna be a sa-weet time!

i'm coming in early tuesday and perhaps sooner.

cheers
2air'
