On my own.
As usual I will be on my own and leave the club camping sites Janet has booked available for others. If you come up short Janet perhaps I can make some adjustments for you. And of course I will try to make a large fire ring available and some better wood than last year.

Way cool! We thought we would be at Lake San Antonio (Norcal rally) and then drive up to Oregon... make a little "journey" out of it! Should be nice. Will be fun to see you again! So many stories, so little time...

By the way, we got our new wheels today, our old axle back... new one is supposed to arrive next week! Keeping our fingers crossed!

Wow, almost full already. Put us down for 14 & 16 if they are still available Janet.
I have been preoocupied with motorcycle forums and such recently, almost missed this.

All the sites are now taken - should we add some more?
Opinions?

hi janet....
well i sure would...
more folks would be great...
but surely some will change plans or cancel...
this filled faster than any 20 sites i've seen...
will you be on the hook money wise?
will they give ya 10 more without more $$ down?
perhaps just post the 10 closest sites...
and have folks book 'em personally as needed?
could be a great event...even if it's cool wet and cloudy...
cheer

Yes I would be on the hook - but am tempted to add a few more sites while they're still available. At some point folks will just have to be on their own. Last year one of the strange things that happened was that after we closed the registration and folks just kept coming. It was a little hard to get a head count for meals.... I swear, every 'streamer on the west coast showed and we had a blast.
You'all are going to have to pack more merlot - much more!
On edit - i added 5 more sites. That's a lot of tin!

Many of you have asked when or where to pay. You can send me a check or else Jordandvm - aka Big (trailer) Collections Agency will pick your pocket at the rally.

If you check in on wednseday or Thursday, you will need to pay the park for those nights only. Friday and Saturday are already paid for.

Janet et al,
Last year we had the Oregon Unit and a couple of folks from the Western Oregon Unit attend that don't normally come to the forums rallys. Should we also invite them.......or just keep it our little secret? The names that I can remember off the top of my head are Kathy Hunt, Joyce Parker, Frances, Van's parents, Mary Kulish (she bought a 31' Classic at the Intl in Salem). I could also put the word out in the WOU newsletter, if you think that would be wise!
My guess is that before this is all over.....you'll be adding 10-15 more sites and we'll have the whole loop reserved!

I say adding 5 is a good start, but 10 would probably fill. As I recall all of the chili was gone after dinner last year. I can't believe we went through that much food, but boy was it good.

I already invited a couple of the Oregon unit regulars, but they are headed to ID for the Jazz Festival which is about the same time. I also emailed a few folks who have come to other forum events. I think Annie & Wynn from the OR unit are going to join us (as soon as they figure out how to use the forum).

As he promised to do, my prospective buyer for my '65 Tradewind came through on his threat to buy it. It's gone! Off to Glacier Park the next two weeks then home to Tacoma. So, thanks to the good-hearted Butch and Beth Walters, I'll be bunking in their "new" Avion camper while they break in their Argosy - IF I get the plumbing fixed in time! Darol

Darol - does this mean you're coming to Beverly Beach? An Avion would be a cool addition.

Inlaws actually.
They will be in attendance this year. That is why i am down two times on the list. Since we now have their 23' Safari, they are going to be in their restored '37 Pierce Arrow. It is quite a sight.

Well - we already have a lot of folks - more could be fun. Besides if we sell out the G loop no one will complain about the late night fire! Heck maybe they'll make so much money off us they'll give Campcollector a raise!
Let your friends know, Stef - can you contact frances?

Already did but I haven't heard back from her. Emailed Pat & Janis (Bambi, came to BG Lake & South Beach) but the email bounced, so I guess I should give them a call. Emailed the Koltzes too but they said they'd just got back from a trip to BB (not that that would stop me form going there again in Oct).

What is the status on more sites? I'm getting very excited for a long weekend on the Oregon coast. I miss our Airstream, can't wait to take her camping soon.

Hi Janet,
I'm a newbie to the rallys but I'm excited to meet all the Pacific Northwest Airstreamers.
Please count me in.
