B van food contribution

I'm planning to bring the cougar cheese I forgot at John Day for Friday night with some crackers and/or apples. For Saturday I'll bring a pork loin marinated in something sesame and mustard based (when I lived in the islands, they ate a lot of pork...although I will grill it, not cook it all day in a hot sand pit!). I'll also try to bring some mangoes for Sat night if I can get some good ones. For Sunday morning I'm bringing eggs.
Looking forward to seeing you all there! Is anyone bringing a bike to do that loop ride?
Michelle

Hi Janet, put me down for a cooler full of drinks. I will bring some OJ and some ice tea and water and a few cans of pop. I will have to look over the menu to see what kind of food items I'm going to bring.

I will be bringing all the stuff that I usually bring. Let me know if you need anything additional to that.

We will probably be up late Thursday night or early Friday morning don't know which yet. I'm hoping to get my usual spot :-)

Michele,

Haven't seen you since Wenatchee last year, so we're looking forward to seeing you again. Since we're new to this "rally", what bike loop ride are you talking about? We were thinking about bringing bikes but didn't know what options there were there.

Thanks!

Rob and Diane

Dessert

At the risk of being redundant:

Friday night - Pie
Sat. night - Pie
Sun night - Pie (with wipped cream...)

We always know what you will bring JD.
State fair dessert, and condiments for the hot dogs Friday. Mac salad for Saturday and hash brown casserole Sunday morning( good way to warm up the trailer in the morning). We plan on getting in Thursday evening, bring a granddaughter and will head out when school is out. It's the granddaughter in my profile picture 7 years later.

Rob and Diane,

I plan on bringing my mountain bike with hopes of finding some singletrack. I checked the map but haven't seen anything very close yet. Maybe you know of some?

In any event, even if we don't do a ride together, it will be good to see you again after meeting you in Depoe Bay the other weekend.

HI Rob and Diane, looking forward to seeing you again this year!
There's a loop ride that is not very hilly that some of us like to do each year. It is 10-12 miles and great when the weather is nice. If you're more into sweating, you can ride up the Mt. Adams hwy as far as you want. Greg and I did it last year and he would have made it further, but I got too tired after a few miles! Mary and I are both bringing our bikes this year, so if anyone wants to join on the loop ride, that would be great! There's also a lot of hiking nearby if the snow is melted, so you may want to pack your hiking boots as well.
Janet, Mary is bringing a caribbean salad for Saturday night. We're going to aim to get up there about 6-6:30 on Friday night.

We're all packed and ready to leave! Bought an Easy-Up at the last minute, in case we need some cover for liquid sunshine. Can't wait to see everyone again! It's always a fun time, no matter what the weather!

Things have conspired against us this year, we'll be bowing out, but will try and come out on Saturday to hang out and visit for a bit. Have fun, all!

Hey Everybody. Looks like I'm down to the wire as usual! When Ruth gets off work today we are heading south to pick up our trailer, then north to meet up with all of you for the night. Then tomorrow we're heading back to Portland, then north to western Washington for a wedding and then back to Trout Lake for the night! On Sunday I'm really, really hoping that some of you will go for a 5 or 10 mile walk or hike with me....please! It's a crazy weekend but we really weren't willing to miss seeing you all and our amazing beautiful weekend hiding place (thank you again Janet and Gary!) See you this afternoon some time! Carmella

Cancellation: I got terribly sick last night, not feeling well at all today--think we had better pass and not spread this around at community dinners.
Try to catch up with you at a later date. I know you'll have a wonderful time--so bummed.

Janet, let me know what we owe on the camping fee and where to send it. So sorry we didn't make it.
