alien homing beacon
rumor has it that Gary and Janet "dispatched" (aka murdered-with a pocket knife, yet) an alien homing or warning beacon of some sort that was randomly beeping late Sat night...the beacon was heard by all except the mother ship....ahh what else may yet be reported...

Wot A Great Time!
After missing the last 33Fest, we had such a great time seeing you all again! I said it once and I'll say it again, this particular collection of alien scout tempters puts together the most unbelievable potluck ever! Not a tuna cassarole, or jello mold with pineapple bits to be found.
Now, you guys think I'm picky about the vintage of my MD20... we're really stupid about what's on our plate. Our hat's off to y'all!
See you on the flip/flop, drivers!

Beautiful shot of the mountain---and what a cool motorhome in the foreground---looks like a 1987 classic 290---very rare!!!
Item 2. CHAIRS, CHAIRS,CHAIRS----I am THE KEEPER OF THE CHAIRS, at least until someone claims these two very nice, nearly new chairs. They currently live in Wasco, America, awaiting identification from there proper owners. Oh, did I mention, the ransom for your chairs is your trailer, delivered of course!!!!
Item 3. Janet or Gary, tell Michelle BRAVO! Her CD is very, very good and thank her.
Bob of Bob, Molly and the boys...GOOD RALLY.

Bacon has many uses....
We had a great time and were especially delighted that more than one kind of "visitation" occurred - anyone have a pic?. Next year we are hoping for Elvis.

Sounds like everyone had a wonderful time. Sorry we missed it. Hopefully we will be able to attend the next rally (with bacon of course). Looks like from the pics so far that it was a beautiful place.

We had a great time and wonderful visits. Thank you Janet & Gary for putting this together and I will hang the banner proudly at International. Thank you to all the boy dogs that put up with Ruby, she learned to be nice this weekend.
A picture of our special guest and some of everyone at our fun mirror. Carmella, looking tall. Maya and Morgan having fun, Ruby taking a nap after the dog races.

Teresa, here's a picture of one of the yorkies soaking up the sun (when it finally came out), and then falling asleep face down in the grass - my favorite activity at rallies too

Our trailer is now famous!
(love the peek of Gary in the background...filling his tea kettle!)
Thanks to all for another fun Area 33!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay here it is ...Salted Toffee-Chocolate Squares.
suggestion...make these and take them to an event and DO NOT come home with any!
12 Graham crackers
1(8oz) bag toffee bits
1 1/2 C. Coarsely chopped toasted almonds (bake 300 15 min)
1/2 C. sugar
1 C. butter ( 2 sticks)
3/4 C. bittersweet chocolate 60% or more (chopped or chips)
3/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1. Oven at 350....line a baking sheet with foil...place crackers together in a single layer touching.
2. In saucepan heat butter & sugar to a boil over med. high heat. Reduce and stir until syrupy. Just a few min.
3. Sprinkle toffee bits and chopped almonds on crackers and pour syrup evenly over.
4. Bake until bubbly. 12-15 min. Sprinkle chocolate over....and coarse salt.
*I liked to let them cool to barely warm so the choc. melts into the bar, but not a blob.
5. I had better luck cutting into squares after completely cool. Store in container up to a week.
Enjoy...Pats

Thanks Pats for sharing the squares.
Here is the pickle recipe - please give credit to Judy Canada of the WBCCI Idaho Unit:
Aunt Dorothy’s Pickles
(from Judy Canada, WBCCI ID Unit)
7 Cup CukeS, sliced thin
1 Cup ONIONS, sliced thin
1 Cup GREEN PEPPER, sliced thin
2 Cup SUGAR
1 Cup VINEGAR
2 Tbsp SALT
1 Tbsp CELERY SEED
1 tsp MUSTARD SEED
· Put in Tupperware in refrigerator & stir for 3 to 4 days. Then they are ready to eat.
· Repack in smaller containers & keep in fridge if you won’t use as soon.
Zucchini slices work very well. Good way to use excess zucchini.
Enjoy, Susan

Well Sampus came home after everything calmed down. I left around 3 PM.
Made it to AS of Spokane. Then home yesterday. I was tired.
Looks like Wally paid us a visit at Area 33.

Michelle - we're SO glad that Sampus came home... it left a pit in my stomach leaving you there looking for him (her?). I love the Wally pics... and we should visit the icecaves next time too!
L&C... I have your propane tank... it's in the trailer in Marysville... do you ever come down south?
Had a blast... sadly, we just needed one more day of fun to really unwind.
Marc and the 3M's...

Dave kept asking if Michelle had posted if her cat came home - glad to hear he didn't keep you hanging for too long!
Marc, we watched a very funny video of you on YouTube this morning

Thank You all for your concern. I remained confident she would come home.
So how do we find this video of Marc on YouTube?
