Parking tow vehicles in the old stock pen by the lower gate last year really improved the space situation and I think we will need to do this again.

OK cool ! Thanks !

Greetings Area 33 people!
We're really looking forward to the rally - Gerry & I just completed a new floor install in our 34' & hope to have the same completed by tomorrow on our 24' Argosy (replacement for our totaled 22' Argosy) as Our Gussy is accompanying us to this rally. Glad it won't be raining this weekend as we discovered a new to us drip from the a/c late last night. Another thing to add to the to do list . . .
As I've been cutting & gluing tile, crawling around on hands & knees, haven't had much time to cook, so will be bringing mango peach salsa, cream cheese, & the kind of nibblies that you can scoop up with the hand & toss in the mouth.
No worries parking near the landing area as our two attack poodles love to munch on little aliens!

Just got a new dutch oven to try the cornbread out on so it is best that Jeff is back-up on the cornbread.
We are camped, out of Madras, at Pelton Dam, very nice campground. We will be heading out on Thurs. morning to TL. We saw Jim & Cheryl heading up 97 toward Maupin this morning. Claudia & Don, are you coming up this side of the hill, stop by? See everyone soon.

We're in Memmaloose SP now outside of Hood River....great view of the Gorge and River. Rained hard last evening....but now sunny. We'll be heading up to A33 either Thursday or Friday.....depending on whether I get inspired to do some painting here. I took my mandolin to the Breedlove factory in Bend two days ago and had some fine tuning done......so it's ready to make music. Gotta keep those aliens entertained! Hope all you musicians have your instruments with you as well!
Looking forward to seein everyone!

Looking forward to seeing everyone this time around. We really NEEEEEED this gitaway.
Jim and Cheryl, we'll be bringing the mandolino and banjar for noise makers. I haven't had much time to play as we've been remodeling a kitchen. Could be interesting. Almost done with the kitchen tho but the break will be great.

We had a great time! Great weather, good company and fab food. One of these days I need to try a huckleberry smoothie.
After we got home last night, I washed the items I found along the creek bank and pieced together the torn note. Pic is attached.. The note was somewhat disturbing and there was some text that was missing or unreadable.
" ... watching the lights all morning and fear they will arrived shortly. All possible preparations have been made now and .. (unreadable). 2ai "

Thanks for talking me into coming down! We were there less than 24 hrs, but it was great to visit with everyone and relax for a bit. Thanks for the hospitality!
Here's Dave and Barclay in the trailer. Barclay really wore himself out playing with all the other dogs, he slept all the way home

Thanks to Janet and Gary for getting us back to Trout Lake. What a beautiful place for R & R. We had a safe trip back and Lucy is doing great.
