The only problem with tanktops is you can't roll a pack of Luckies in the sleeve. We'll see what we can find. The problem is I probably won't have to look too far...

Uh Oh! We've Gone Off The....
Deep End!
I may have gotten a little crazy with my suggestion of a head full of hair rollers. But the creativity of this group makes me think we'll have some good audience participation.
On a more serious note, any ideas on how we might identify our group? One or two forum members indicated they may drive in for the show but not camp. It would be nice if they could identify us in the crowd. (just in case they don't notice the soiled t-shirts, polyester, rollers and Luckies).
Only a couple more days - I can't wait.
Lucius

I'm trying to get Karen to fix her hair up ala B52's. She may not bite, though. It may have to be me. Scary.

Wig wearing? Cross-dressing can't be far behind.

Packing... Cooking... Checking the List...
Packing the clothes... Cooking some food in advance to save time... Checking the beverage list... We're almost ready to go.
After tomorrow (Thursday) around noon we will not have access to the Forum. We don't have a laptop computer. I think everyone has our phone number and we have yours. We should arrive at the campground before dark (we're going to arrange to obtain the gate code for the campground in advance - assuming the ranger will give it to us over the phone).
We're packing polyester shirts/blouses just in case we decide to ham it up at the show.
See you at the campground.
Lucius

We're going to miss this weekend. I have a safety issue with our TV that I can't either ignore or solve before the weekend.
Hope everyone has a good time.

Everyone Had a Good Time!
Tim - it's too bad you missed the fun but we can certainly understand why you did not attend. Hope you are able to have the TV fixed quickly and without much problem.
Everyone had a good time we were ready for more! The weekend was much too short. Danielle and are just getting back to the house and unpacking after the drive back from NC. The drive was longer than we originally expected but worth it for sure. We had a blast! A few pictures are attached.
The first two pictures show what we had to do to level the trailer at the campground. Not my best moment - but the trailer was level - maybe more level than any other time we camped.
The second two pictures are the crowd at the Troubadours show - not our Airstream crowd - just a general picture of the happenings.

The trip was fantastic. The CG was on the floor of a thick forest; a beautiful setting. Thanks for setting it up Lucius and Danielle. Pot Luck breakfast this morning was great.
For those who haven't seen the Trailer Park Troubadours, it was a fantastic show. They played for 2 hours with all original material...except part of one song. We would love to go see them again. I understand they will be in North Carolina for 2 shows in August.
I promised to provide the recipe for Monkey Bread, so here it is:
[I][I]30 oz. buttermilk biscuits
1 cup granulated sugar
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
Quarter biscuits and coat in mixture granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Place quarters in bunt pan or angelfood cake pan
Melt butter and brown sugar, stirring constantly.
Boil for about 1 minute (stirring constantly).
Pour brown sugar mixture over pan.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes (or until top of cake is lightly browned).
Allow to cool 5 minutes then turn upside down on serving tray.
Matt and Beth.

You guys are killing me. I wanted to go so bad...(this is Phil).
Thanks for setting this up and thanks Brad (and Lucius) for putting up pics for us left behind!

Did you get to speak with any of them after the show? (maybe I don't really want to know the answer to this... )

We did get to speak with Antsy after the show. He signed autographs, CD's and T-shirts for the crowd.
MAKE YOUR PLANS NOW...
Antsy will be returning to NC on August 8th and 9th.
Details on that rally soon>>>>>>

D'OH! Wish I could have made it, it looked like a lot of fun, and great weather too.
Thanks to all for sharing!
