Still working on a site for you and Sia, and all the others on the waiting list. Don't give up, as the date nears sites sometimes open up. Keep checking the Park website. The move to Palmetto Cove next October will solve that problem. Unless we top 140 attendees. Then we will rent a fairgrounds somewhere!!!

The Alumalina campground map is looking very impressive. Fifty-five silver trailers and only 17 black trailers. Hopefully some of those black trailers will turn to silver when Airstreamers reveal themselves or cancellations are snapped up by people on the wait list. If you are waiting keep checking. If you have a reservation with the campground and haven't yet registered with the rally, please do so on our RSVP link. Click on the link below and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the button that you are attending, or if you've already confirmed and are canceling your reservation click the appropriate button. In the comments box please provide your site number, dates you will be at the campground and first names of the people in the trailer. If you change sites, people or dates please update your reservation by changing the comments box on the RSVP page. This really has become so big it is much easier for the organizers to keep track of everyone through the RSVP page than to scroll through and read almost 200 posts on this forum thread!

I got an idea for a seminar/marriagesaver/antifrustration topic and if anybody forms any ideas about who this is primarily referencing, no soup for you from our DO.

Yes, its the darn Eye Phone and its related apps.

We had a day off and just driving around trying to find Antique malls even w/o the trailer, well thats the idea.

What idea they said in unison?

Navigating on the fly via E-maps, searching for fuel, and getting those APPS working like your favorite.............whatever.

So maybe a navigators class.

Please folks, don't get me in any more trouble than I can get in by myself.

Greetings from a Newbie! I am in the process of researching and shopping for an AS. I am a documentary filmmaker working on a doc project and am planning to make my home/production studio an aluminum one.

I would love to attend Alumina 2015, but at this point I am a solo car camper in my humble Toyota Camry named "Clementine."

Is there anyone close to the water who would consider sharing their camp space with Clementine and I? I am very self contained and will pitch in for camp space funds. I'd really like to stay with someone interested in independent film or photography, and I would be happy to share the images that I shoot of the gathering!

I'm low key, tidy and non intrusive. (Okay, well I shoot a lot of images and video...)

River Ninja ... As for room on a site,if we do not have our TT when this starts we will have a lot of room, We have one of the sites close to the bathroom and is I think about 60 feet deep. We are using our tow truck to live in for now. Freightliner M2. Watch this site for a cancel or if we do not get our trailer you are more than welcome to share ours.

I shoot Canon, but not because I don't like Nikon. Like many photographers, once you get started with one (and start gathering high end lenses) it's just difficult to cross over. I find that it's what you do with the equipment and imagery that matters.

I'm originally from Idaho, but have spent the last 14 years in southern Oregon, and before that Northern California. I'm an alum from both Humboldt State (Arcata, Calif. - Journalism/Photojournalism) and Oregon State (Ed.M. Adult Education) I was also a newspaper reporter for 24 years.

I came out to NC after my youngest child (of 4) graduated and left for college. I purged almost everything, put what was left in a storage unit, packed my car (Clementine - a 2008 Toyota Camry) and headed east on the Cherokee Trail of Tears, (Oregon, Oklahoma, North Carolina). You can learn more about the documentary project "Crying Back the Ocean" and me by going to the project website www.cryingbacktheocean.com . Right now it's a landing page with a live link in the middle of the page "Epiphany Chick."

I hadn't planned to stay in NC. However, I had applied to an MFA in documentary film at Montana State Univ. and when I got out to NC I was notified that I wasn't admitted into the program. I did a little attitude adjustment, refocused... and an Elder here in NC suggested I stay in the area and work on my research and documentary project, rather than going to some other locale where there was no Cherokee history. (i.e. Montana, Oregon... ) So, I stayed...

I lived in an Airstream with my parents in Porterville, CA when I was a teenager, which is where I fell in love with them. (Just got tired of living in such tight quarters with my parents.) Now, because I am an adventurer, and maintaining the cost of a permanent home base is (to me) a waste of my hard earned cash, I prefer to find and refurbish an AS, purchase a TV, and make it into my own mobile office/studio.

Right now, I'm looking for a community of people who understand the FT explorer lifestyle (and rigs and equipment) I'm moving toward... Alumina 2015 seems like the perfect opportunity to do that.

I offered this first up to Terry & Marie/Overlander63, and then maybe someone else if they don't take it , but the fact is there is space available for someone as we get closer......who wants to come but is unable to get their own site.
