What's the count?
My sister just had to cancel our weekend camping so we are suddenly free this weekend. Is it too late to join in?

We're wimping out with the weather forecasted for our 8 hour drive down on Thursday - if only we could have left tomorrow!! Hope to see ya'll at the next rally, stay safe, dry and most importantly, say "Hi" to Rita for me! I was so looking forward to making her acquaintance.

For those of you already at Palmetto Cove, how is the data/connectivity strength? Specifically - Verizon...is it strong or weak? (It's tough working and 'streaming on the road!)

Verizon here is weak, but present.
There is free WiFi in the park, which has been good until this morning...after all the newcomers are also on , tho it may be better in some areas than in others....so I reverted to my own cellular data.

For those planning to arrive Thursday, a look at the weather forecast has convinced me to leave work early tomorrow, arrive tomorrow evening, and avoid towing and setting up in the rain. It might be a good idea to consider.

We use Verizon, too. Have our own mifi that is giving us a decent signal for the web. Had to make a couple of important calls this morning and was able to make them successfully. Thing to keep in mind is reception can be spotty if cloudy or in different areas in the park.

Hello everyone
We are nearly packed....good thing we have a long bed dualie and a 34' trailer.
Just a reminder, we have 300 hot dogs for Thursday night but no buns so please bring a few with you. Any condoms and sides are also most welcome.
We hit the mother load on fresh possum, so the Friday night bog is set.
We have coffee and pastries for the continental breakfasts but please feel free to add anything to make it better.
Saturday's potluck breakfast is legendary, bring your best stuff, to share.
Same goes for Saturday night pot luck supper.
I have not counted today but the number is around 125 rigs.
To all of you that have had to cancel, we will miss you. We'll be back in the Fall.
Every hour is happy hour so be happy. Get out and meet your neighbors.
If the weather happens to get less than desirable, get out, meet at the pavilion or the lounge or the hall.
Please remember that the Cove can only take cash or checks. The parking fee is $25/nite, full h/u. Let the parkers know if you need 50a.
Come visit with Rita under the Pavilion on Saturday, probably around 1pm.
Looking forward to seeing all our old friends and our new best friends.
PLEASE EVERYONE.....travel safe.

There is room at the inn....
near as I can tell, the count stands at 118 rigs. Our max is 130 so if you are pondering whether or not to join the fun, come on, we have room for you.

We're still planning to head out very early tomorrow morning and hopefully beat the heavier rain. Looking forward to it!
