Wow!!!
Susan and I are home, unpacking. Why is it we always come home with more than we left with??
We will post details soon of another fantastic weekend. Need a day or 2 to regroup.
For now, THANKS EVERYONE FOR COMING AND MAKING ALUMALINA ANOTHER RECORD BREAKING SUCCESS. We love you all.

Got home/ got questions
Hi All,
We stopped by forum rally on Saturday after touring so many amazing trailers. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and answering our questions. Didn't bring "Barley" cause he's not ready. Had some more specific questions for one of the owners of a 70 era Airstream. He turned the interior into a very modern-age design to include an Atwood Helium Fridge, a cool chair, and cow skin rug. He was parked toward the back near the Argosy group. Anyone know his name, email, or how to reach him? We asked tons of questions but continue to think of more as we work through our redo. Thanks so much!

We returned home to sunny Florida, safely, about two hours ago. We left home with high expectations of meeting some additional Airstreamers with which to travel. John, thanks to you and your experienced team, our expectations were far exceeded! In addition, we met a bunch of really great people with lots of fascinating travel stories to tell!
We have a large immediate family (5 kids, 11 grandchildren) so we are accustomed to large gatherings for dinner, wedding receptions, etc. and the planning involved...John, wish we had been able to commission you to plan some of our family bashes! Spectacular job! The experience reminded us of attending a large, southern, pot-luck dinner. Lots of good food and conversation wrapped in warm hospitality! We can't wait to go to the next event, where ever it might be.
We met really great people, old hands and newbies, all living the dream! Glad we came...
Thanks again!

I had a great time and so did Sam. I hated my better half and oldest son could not attend this time but we made out just fine. My folks had a blast for their first rally. Glad we got to park with all the other Argosy's. Thanks again John for a great time!
Best pic I could get of the whole group. I slipped up to a discrete location for this one
A photo of my rig (fluxcap) took this one.
Heading home!
Great photo my Mom took heading out.
Caught up with this rig on I-85. Who is Buffy? Caravanned with them for a bit. Man, traffic was awful. RIP to that motorcycle rider, that couldn't have ended well.

What an incredible time! Thank you John and Susan and all the others who worked so hard to make this rally look seamless. Met some fine folks and got reacquainted with others.
Wonder if anyone has a link to the TV story?
Thanks!

What a GREAT rally! Friendly folks, lots of kids, perfect weather, beautiful Airstreams and Argosys, Rita & Jose, terrific entertainment, and food. Lots of food. A continuous three day extravaganza of FOOD. And now I'm going to sit in the driveway while the awnings dry out and listen to some tunes on this amazing Bose speaker from the raffle. Thank you John & Annie (Sandlapper), the Palmetto State unit, and the Palmetto Cove staff for an incredible weekend!

Another awesome Alumalina rally! Perfect weather, great food and lots of fine folks! I enjoyed greeting everyone with the white or yellow bag! Many thanks to my brother , John, and ALL who helped out with the rally. Thanks to the Cove staff for their fine job! I hope everyone has safe travels home and down the road . We too saw the horrible motorcycle accident on I-77 coming home. It did not look good for the driver. Stay safe everyone and have a nice Fall! Beth

Hello John, Susan and right hand man, Terry,
We had a great time. Thanks so much for putting this rally on. It was our ultimate destination and it was worth every minute.
Fyi, we made it back to Vermont today with no issues.
Thanks again,

Thank you all that came,
and contributed, and made this year's gathering the best ever. It was totally awesome.
A new record of 135 rigs from 18 states plus Canada and Newfoundland. A true international rally. A guesstimate is 350 of the greatest folks on the planet.
Many, many people went above and beyond to pull this thing together and Susan and I love you for it. There were so many helpers I dare not start a list for I would surely leave someone off. Please rest assured we know who you are.
The cooks, bottle washers, trash crew, seminar leaders, greeters, bar tenders, tech helpers, drone pilots, photographers, fish cookers and servers, sound crew, door prizes, dancers, firemen, bell ringers, crafts, the gamblers, the ghosts and goblins, and the secretarial staff.
Thanks all that brought your children.....they were the best part. They are always welcome.
Thank you also for the many sercys we were given. We are enjoying them as I type.
In case you missed the announcement, regrettably, Susan and I will not be able to host a Spring Alumalina for the next few years, just too much on the plate.
We already have the dates set and a contract signed with Palmetto Cove for next fall.
OCTOBER 26-29, 2017
We will launch a new thread later. Need a little break for now.
This thread remains open so don't unsubscribe just yet, there may be more coming.
Thank you all, I HAD MORE FUN THAN ANYONE.

Cubs Win!
Thanks John, and all the others who helped, including the Cove Hosts, for effecting such a great Rally.
A little bit of rain, but as I was told, "you can't have a rainbow without rain".
Phil

Another great rally, John, Terry, Susan, and all the others who made it happen. I saw it with my own eyes, but still don't know how you did such a perfect job providing for so many folks.
As members of the Cove, WBAC, Air Forums and Palmetto State Airstream Club, we are thankful for the opportunity you have provided to make many new friends, have a lot of fun, and introduce the clubs and a fine Cove facility to folks who otherwise might not know about them.
Sincerely,
Jake and Diane
