Parking at the Cove is $25 per night, pay them when you arrive. They can only accept cash or checks, they have no credit card machine. You are most welcome to come early and stay late.
No reservations with the Cove are necessary, just let me know you are coming, I will be the keeper of the list. Post on the thread or RSVP page, telephone, telegraph, email, or write. Carrier Pigeon, Pony Express, flare gun. Just let me know and don't get left out.
We will have a small rally fee, still TBD. As always, it will be a bargain. The fun alone is priceless.
So.....let me know you are coming, pay when you arrive. If it turns out you cannot make it, we will simply scratch you off the list. We will miss you but no money to be returned.

Tagging in, but not committing (yet) to attending. We're located about 4500 km away, but have been planning to be in the general area as part of our fall swing down the East Seaboard.
At this point its all about trying to work out the timing and we will be working on that over the next few weeks. Tagging in like this will allow me to find this tread again.....

Alumalina Fall 2016 Edition
King Possum, your humble servant and airstream friend the Big Hooter is present and flapping his wings.
Since it has been so hot I thought maybe you had joined our four legged possum friends and had gone to ground to stay cool. It was good to see you and Susan in Lewisburg a few weeks ago. It was nice to be about two thousand feet higher in elevation than we are here in the flat lower lands (700 plus feet) around York and Charlotte.
We traveled up into the Blue Ridge Mountains last weekend and there is a large crop of very young healthy possums on the ground in my neighborhood. But they do need some training in crossing the Parkway, because there were a few slow ones that did not make it across. I hate to see spoiled road kill but the turkey vultures were having a feast. Enough about my recon trip looking for possums for Alumalina.
John you can sign us up (Anne and John) for the Fall event, we would not miss this Alumalina Rally for anything.
See you down the road soon.
