THE PARK IS BEAUTIFUL....no damage from flooding and all is set to GO. I am here this weekend taking care of a few last details.

We will have an INFORMATION CENTER set up near the stage under the pavilion. Please check it daily for additions/corrections, post your messages, list items for sale, site numbers, lost and found, missing husbands, missing wives, etc.

As always, we will have drawings for DOOR PRIZES. Each rig gets 1 ticket, everyone is eligible to win, no contribution necessary BUT if you would like to contribute a small item, we will happily take it.


AIRSTREAM OF VIRGINIA, now owned by Camping World, will be here to display the latest and greatest Airstream products.

Camping World has also agreed to donate door prizes and RAFFLE ITEMS. Bring along your $$ and lucky charms.

And FYI.....Our good friend and terrific ALUMALINA supporter for many years....Airstream of SC, Ron Rawl….could not attend this year BUT Ron has made another very generous donation to help offset the cost the fish fry on Saturday night. Please drop Ron a note of thanks. And remember him if you are thinking about a new Airstream. Thank you.

Thanks for coming, we are so glad you are here!
We have a complete rally packet waiting for you at the Registration Table, under the pavilion, with all the information you will need for a great weekend.

Park anywhere you would like, we will have folks to help if needed. Please bring your site number to registration.

After you settle in drop by to register and pick up your packet at one of these times:

Wednesday 3:00 - 5:00

Thursday 9:00 - 10:00

3:00- 5:00

Friday 9:00 - 10:00

3:00 - 5:00

Saturday 9:00 – 10:00

I am happy to report we have negotiated a rally rate parking fee of $32 per night, full hook up, payable to Tom Johnson Camping with Cash, Check, or Credit Card. We will point the way to their payment office.

The Rally fee this year remains a bargain at $50 per rig, regardless of how many are with you, or $25 for single, to cover expenses. Payable by cash or checks made to Alumalina. Sorry, we have no CC machine for Alumalina.

All group activities will be under the Pavilion unless otherwise noted.

Please bring your SET UPS to the meals (Plates, utensils, drink, etc.)

We have a great rally planned, including meals, seminars, open house, craft/flea markets, group therapy, and much more. So please don’t be shy, make yourself at home, get out and meet your neighbors, explore the area, and have a wonderful time. If you need any assistance just let us know.

Everyone is welcome to come early. We will have signs posted to help guide you in and REST ASSURED, it is an easy place to find and enter. If you happen beat me there, this is how you will want to enter.....

On Hwy 70, as you approach TJCW from east or west, before you even see the facility you will see the humongous AMERICAN FLAG that Camping World is noted for. It is in front of their dealership. DON'T TURN IN AT THE FLAG/DEALERSHIP, the RALLY PARK is on the back side of the facility. Instead,

Instead, Turn left...if WEST BOUND, or Right if EAST BOUND on to RESISTOFLEX ROAD. It takes you to the back portion of the facility where we will be.

Once on RESISTOFLEX ROAD, very shortly you will see the RALLY PARK on your LEFT. Look for the gate, on the left, into the Rally Park. Come on in and park.

Once you have settled in, please go to the SERVICE CENTER ….Big building w/ green roof that was on your right as you turned into the Rally Park. You can walk/drive to it by going under the bridge in the Rally Park. Inside, please see DAWN and pay for your campsite. $32/ night.

In the past, many have set up displays at their trailer, some under the pavilion. You are welcome to do either. For the sake of convenience for the shoppers, a group display under the pavilion would be nice.

We have the HOT DOGS, BUNS, AND BASIC CONDIMENTS for the Thursday night kick off.

What we need is any side type items, chips, pasta, slaw, beans, deserts, pig knuckles, chicken feet. The Chili is covered.


We have our famous POSSUM BOG for Friday night. A delicious bog of fresh celery, carrots, sausage, rice, onions, and of course fresh Himalayan Possum. If you are not familiar with Himalayan Possum, do not worry, it tastes just like chicken. You will like it.

It is a meal in itself but any sides or deserts are always welcome.


We have the fabulous FISH FRY on Saturday night with grade A white fish fillets, shrimp, devil crab, FF, and HP. We will have plenty, and WILL NOT RUN OUT, so if the lines are long, just sit back, have a second drink, relax.

We need any deserts, slaw, pasta.



Remember that Saturday breakfast is all pot luck, so please be generous, we have a big crowd.


Here's a small tip for any new folks:

Most any Airstream Rally you attend will request you bring your own set ups to the meals: Plates, bowls , flat ware, cup/drink etc. It saves a huge amount of money for the rally. Get a tote bag of some sort, put these items in it, keep it packed, stored, and ready for each meal. Grab-n-go.


There has never been a shortage of great food at Alumalina….thank you all in advance for contributing.
