Sorry, always thinking of food and drink

And as far as that goes, I'm starting a collection of NJ brews to bring with me. So far I have some River Horse, and have found a selection of Flying Fish to bring. On a positive note (as I here in NJ have freezing rain today and a possiblity of 36" of snow on Sunday night) there are 49 days left before I head out for SC!!! John

After the last Alumalina at Lake Wateree and the "big hit" made by my Italian Meringue cake dessert, I've decided to not risk anything less spectacular -- BUT I have an incredible NEW recipe for lemon bars that I've decided on. I will be making these in SilverLeaf in my very own oven after I arrive. Oh, and they are SLATHERED with whipped cream, so be sure and leave your diet behind. I think you did that by all the posts with Maggie's bread. (Maggie, I am definitely ready for a new dishcloth, BTW!) Barry

It looks like we will have to bring the truck in order to deliver a couple of bulky items. So, I guess we can bring some larger parts orders, as long as it fits in the bed of the truck.
We could probably squeeze in a fridge or a/c unit.
I've been conversing with the parts manager about the possibility of dragging a box 'o goodies with us to dispense, as well.

Anyone interested in dishcloths, I'm sure I will have a pile.

Barry....what colors do you like? I will be sure to have some especially for you, as you are among their top 10 fans.

You know, the lethality of this bread will have to be dependent on what you put on it. It is actually very good for you, and our eating these various loaves almost exclusively the past 4 months or so has not put a pound on either one of us.

Breakfast toast, most days, is our favorite.

And, I love anything lemon.

Are you too far away to drive over for Saturday?

Thanks Terry. I spoke to the boss, he said ODM would be happy to contribute to the door prizes. If you can mule them, awesome. Airstream has already sent some goodies, and Camping World and LED Dan are also on board. We should end up with lots of good stuff, especially if some of the folks coming throw a few things into the ring.

I will attempt to bring some fresh draft brew from "Ale Yeah!" our local Growler supplier. The stuff is only good for a day or two so we will need help to use it up.

I would have to look again but it would be close to 5 hrs each way. Not to say impossible...but would need to see if I can finagle something. Your DO bread is one heck of an incentive. Will see, keep you posted.

hey Alan, I can see this beer thing develop into a fun thing. Might be a new phenom at more rallys.

I have heard that there is a crisis in the making amongst the big breweries, seems the new thing with the young folks is more speciality, micro type beer, less "Big Box" beer. Who wooda thunkit!!!

David slays Goliath.

We are still planning to drive up Friday. We have found out we won't have our truck by then, so we plan to drive up in my Subaru and would like to pitch a tent with someone, if that is allowed. Also, we are vegan, so will be bringing our vegan hot dogs. (They are made by Field Roast Grains and a I dare a carnivore to be able to tell the difference. :-)) We'll also probably bring vegetable dishes to share.

Pagey,

We're on 22, just a short walk behind Rally Central in some trees. If you don't get a better site offer you're welcome to pitch on our site.

Pagey,

I just called the SP office, 1 tent added to site, no problem. Might need to get a vehicle pass at the office.
