AirForums Rally participation record
I was thinking - and when I do I usually get into trouble - that it would be neat to have some sort of record like Wally did of our participation in rallies that were started here on the forums. It would be fun to have a check list of past and future rallies that members can add to their UserCP page as an historical record for which rallies they attended.
An easy way is to have a section added to the UserCp side menu that takes you to a page where all the rallies are listed for every year and you can click on the rallies you attended. The selected rallies would then be added to a listing on your UserCP page. In a way (digitally) the same as Wally and his crew did by painting the names of the caravans on the side of their trailers.
Just for FUN.....

Great idea Mike!!
As an added feature, each rally could have little vinyl decals made to be handed out to the attendees and they could be placed (removeable) to the side of the trailers, like what Wally did, but not as permanent as paint. At the large MoHo rallies I go to, the folks wear a lanyard with little badges attached to their credentials that tell the rest of the folks where they have been.
It's easy to do....and I have a friend in the sign business and I believe that member Devoman also does this.

I was at an award shop today that made custom pins. If I had 3 weeks until my rally I would have considered doing this. You just give them a computer image, and voila!

Lew,
The only beret I wear is black in color with a US Army flash on it. You won't see any red numbers on my coach either.
I was there getting a trophy for the Branson Rally Chili cookoff, but would have gotten the pins as a nice give away.

Steve,
Hope you realize that it was said in jest .
Were these photo-imaged into the pins with a urethane protective bubble over them? I can get pins done by a friend of mine (remember, I've been in the jewelry business for 32 years) with 3-D detail and colors, but they take a little longer to make.........GREAT IDEA!!!!!!

Gene,
Unfortunately, it is a little gold chili pot on top of a column of flames.
Lew...do you know "Doug the Head"?
