We're ready! Well, not really (still winterized here) but I'm ready for a margarita and some great company! Here is a picture of the ladies Citizen watch were going to have for a prize! See you all in May!
So my husband and I generally drive through Branson to more rustic settings with less billboards like the North Fork of the Buffalo river or Big Cedar lodge and we've never camped in a commercial campground like AcornAcres (can you even build a fire there?) but we are going to give the rally a try and see what its like.
We're not big partiers (anymore ) but we do like lots of outdoor things like kayaking and mountain biking and we're pretty good cooks so hopefully we can bring something to the event. Oh, I am a big boardgame player so if anyone likes that I'm your girl.
Looking forward to meeting you all - we'll be camped at site 34.

We like to stay at old hwy 86 but it's closed due to the flood. Acorn acres is nice enough but the reason we go there is they have a big rec hall with a kitchen so we can all get together for dinner etc. it's not a State park by any stretch of the imagination but the group is very eclectic and fun. I'm sure you will enjoy the company of the group and you can have a campfire! Last year we had a big Bon fire and someone was playing the guitar. Lots of fun. Welcome and I'm sure you will have fun and make some new friends. Our first rally (2years ago) was Air Midwest and we were a little afraid on how it would go etc but we had such a great time! We wouldn't miss this rally for anything! It's Zells birthday on May 5th and were spending it with Air Midwest! It's a great group!

Not that is a big deal, as I have winterized our twice already this year. But we are "breaking the seal" for the summer this weekend for a nice overnight.
Branson is kinda like that monkey that got his tail in the lawn mower.......it ain't long now.

We hope you all have a great time at the Spring 2012 Rally in Branson.
Maybe we can make it to the fall Rally this year.... I pray....
