Team,

Just reserved site 112. Looking forward to the rally. Will not be in until the early evening on Thursday. Will have family and dogs as well.

For events I understand the blue grass band on Saturday, thanks! (+$20, no issue)
I read discussion of potluck as well on the calendar page. What day is that? Is there a sign up to help prevent duplicates?

Any thought to a wine and cheese party?

If anyone is familiar with the restaurants and sites in the area would you mind posting a quick write up?

Wine & Cheese (in addition to other fun snacks) might be a great idea for the Friday evening Meet'n'Greet.

Jo Ann wanted to remind all that we'll be right on Lake Taneycomo (famous for trout fishing) and we might try to put together a short float trip for Friday for those with canoes and kayaks. From Cooper Creek Access to Branson Landing, approximately 4 miles. I can run home and hook up the flatbed trailer if we need a major shuttle.

Insofar as restaurants, Branson area offers everything from fast food and "mom & pop" joints to national chains. You can't go hungry, just bring your wallet.

And plenty to do: Silver Dollar City, shopping, fishing, visitor centers... Might suggest hitting one of those touristy kiosk things at about every Branson area business when you get here for ideas or you can PM me if you're looking for something specific.

Hey all, sorry for the sudden departure this morning, but we'd just finished hooking up when the first big drops fell--didn't guess y'all wanted to stand in the rain and visit (checked the rain gauge when we got back to Cedarcreek and had 1"... still raining...)! Thanks again for a sweet weekend! So great to see old friends and meet new ones! Such an awesome group! Can't wait to see you all again in the fall!!!

Thanks to Linda and her husband for organizing the event and everyone who brought the great food. It was fun meeting everyone again. I have to admit I'm terrible at remembering names, good thing I never went into sales for a career.

It was fun looking at everyone's Airstreams. Thanks for opening up your Airstreams. I wish I could've seen more. Let's see, I manage to spend at least 20 minutes talking to the owners at each one, hmm, 3 per hour no wonder I never made it to more.

It's too bad we were not all grouped together. We were scattered in small pods all over the place. We were, site 80, near the bridge and car traffic noisy, it seemed much quieter at the far end near the pavillion.

Hope to see everyone in October.

Thanks again

Kelvin

We received word that ours will be coming off the assembly line on June 6 (a Signature 27FB). We made the trip down from Springfield to see the awesome Airstreams and to get even more excited about ours. It was well worth the trip....we can't wait to join all of y'all next year!!!!!
