Thanks for the Update Sean & Rondi

We will give some thought to what we'll bring to the Friday and Saturday Pot Lucks and then post it here.

Quick question ---- do we bring tubes for the tube races on the creek?

Hey Bruce. Thanks for the update on the lack of water in the creek. We won't bring tubes. Maybe we will bring the reclining lawn chairs and read a book under the awning instead.

Rally list for Sept. 28-29
I did an online reservation early August and it didn't work. I called Miller Creek and did a phone reservation just now.

Too bad. Was going to bring my other favorite vehicle, my Sotar (whitewater raft) and let my kids and anyone who wanted to give it a try. Needs lots of water though....

Shelly will be making seven layer dip for Friday, and either scalloped potatoes with ham or mexican chicken for Saturday. We'll be in on Thursday!

Scorpiontimo,

How did y'all fair with the rain this week? I hope there wasn't any damage at Miller's Creek or in JC. If anyone down that way needs some help with repairs, let me know and I'll help out. Can't wait to see the overbambilander, haha.

It is STILL coming down. Here in S.A. we are over 4 inches so far...desperately needed due to the drought. Karma to you for offering folks to help with repairs.

To all who were interested in inner tube races:

Upon further review, the crick is FULL and flowing over the dam!! Plenty of water for those races Frank & Mike.

Work continues on the 54 Cloud. Yesterday I installed the new fridge and toilet. Took out the Martha Washington stove for refurbishing and cleaning.

Today I installed the new dark distressed mahognay floor.

Sean continues to put a mirror shine on my little treasure-will be ready in time for the rally.

See all of you there!!
