Well we are close to 2 months away! I've got a trip out of town soon and when I get back I'll dewinterize and make some plans for the rally. Hopefully many of you had your chance to get COVID shots and will be protected by June. I got my two and quite honestly I did breathe a big sigh of relief.

For those of you planning on attending I'm thinking we should feel comfortable if we have gone through the inoculation process. I'm up for reinstating the rally as we have known it in the past. That would mean the hot dog fest, movies, trailer tours, and Saturday night pot luck.

I would be happy to discuss those plans here in the forum, but I really want this to be a discussion amongst the attendees rather than general opinions regarding COVID from those who aren't attending. Obviously if any of the activities make anyone uncomfortable you can decline to participate. You are the ultimate judge in that regard. However if there are activities that most of you feel are an unnecessary risk, we can pull those from the plans.

I'd just like a little feedback. Stay well everyone and I'm very happy that I've gotten this far without getting this virus and even happier to know you guys are till around too!

Jack

Looking forward to June

We received our Pfizer vaccines earlier in April .... don't plan to participate in the open house or the potluck quite yet.

However, we will be looking forward to Jack's welcoming hot dogs.

Looking forward to chatting over campfires ... and socially distanced circles ... and some informal bocci ball and card games. Will sure be glad to see you all again.

We both have our Covid vaccines too. I may even get my distemper vaccine before the rally... but don't count on it. There's a very good chance that I may be as ill-tempered as always.

Yeah, keeping your temper under control is always a good thing. I have had all my shots actually, so I am drmox without Pox, and that rocks. I figure there's a joke out there for Shingles too, but I don't want to push it.

Well done! You're going to enjoy this group and this outing. It is always a great time. Welcome!

Just pay no attention to either Cottage or Airtandem. They're... well... you know... eccentric.

Talked with Cottage....TikiHut is @P13.... I swear we let all sorts attend this rally.....even recycled, painted Airstreams with the 70s interiors (that's coming back into vogue).

Ha ha ha!!! Hi Mike!!!

Run the newbees off? Nah... I figure they need to understand that the job was dangerous when they took it.

Whether we bring the trikes will depend on whether we tow the Jeep down. I haven't decided yet. At the very least I'll bring a bike though.
