Once again we're in the planning stages for the 2011 Fall Colors Forum Rally so subscribe to this thread and keep a weather eye out for more details and updates.

We're planning another great rally this year and we hope to see everybody that attended the first two rallies and lots of new attendees.

The dates are 10/06/2011 - 10/09/2011 and once again coincide with the last full weekend of the Calrion County Autumn Leaf Festival.

Ahhh, glad to see a thread up for this. So long as PennWood continues to hold this rally, we will be there. October is a popular camping month in the north / northeast. I've already warded-off two other camping opportunities for this weekend as well as declined a business trip. Nothing stops me from going to PennWood for fall colors.

After the Bash, it seems like I will get hung if I don't drive the Argosy moho, so for now that's the plan.

Larry and I plan to be there. We love Penn Wood. We will be happy to have some nice cool weather. We are currently in WY and visiting Yellowstone and Tetons...headed for WA next and then ferry to AK. We will catch up with you all on our return.

I heard through the Airstream grape vine that you were headed North To Alaska. That's great. Plus some major western national parks! I'm green with envy. You take lots of pictures and be sure to bring them along with you when you stop in at Penn Wood. Be careful out there and keep an eye on them grizzlies and kodiaks. Have a safe trip and we'll see you on up the road.

Well Mr. & Mrs. Tikiman had a great time at last years Fall Colors Rally at Pennwood. We wish there was a place closer to home just like it! If you haven't yet made it to this event please do so soon...you won't be disapointed!

I am working on getting all the particulars together and a sign up sheet to mail in with the rally fee. Keep your eyes on the thread and I will PM everybody on the calendar and here in the thread once the particulars are iroend out and the sign up form is available.

The sign ups will be limited to the number of full hookups er have (which are many). That includes 30 amp electric, water, sewer, digital cable, and WiFi.

We'd love to come up next year. This year we'll be working our way home from the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta about that time.

I am jealous...we've been trying to get to the Balloon Fiesta for a few years now. But work and other things always seem to get in the way. Have a good time and take lots of pictures.

We'll be doing the Fall Colors Forum Rally again next year and you're indeed welcome to come. But you don't have to wait for a rally to stop in at Penn Wood. If you're breezing through western PA on Interstate 80 stop in and sit a spell

This will be our first rally....looking forward to it! Just in case there are others with young children, I have 4 & 7 yr old boys who are great campers and love to socialize!

Sweet! Parker and Mason get new friends. There's a number of young kids there but additional are always good. Parker is 5 and Mason is 3. Can't wait to meet you guys. You've picked an awesome rally to make your first.

Guess it's kind of odd, but just about when the fall colors are at their zenith in this valley, we start looking seriously to make tracks out of here. (That's the beginning of low season in the business cycle, so time to skeedaddle.)

Is that an Argosy moho in your avatar? Hmmm...I guess we're going to have to make sure to bring ours, 100% or not.

It is a 91 Airstream 350 that is not 100%. I hope you bring your Argosy I would love to see it.

Yeah, it's better when I read the forums on the computer instead of the phone. I see now that it's an Airstream, not an Argosy. We have been hoping to bring the Argosy moho to this rally, but I have unfortunately been saddled with a lot of work travel between now and the rally. I am not sure if I can get everything up to par for the trip, but I will try my darned-est. The Airstream trailer might have to make the trip for the third year in a row.

I promise, Carl, I won't demand the playground-view spot this year.

I see you signed up on the rally calendar which is all you have to do for now. We are still trying to finalize all the particulars and I will post a link to a PDF form that you can fill out and mail in with your rally fee. We're trying to keep the costs down to $15.00 - $20.00 / person with children 12 & under free.

We have a large BBQ pit next to the pavillion and we're thinking of firing up that beast for a Saturday evening BBQ & pot luck. So if there are any "Pit Bosses" out there I am sure we'll be able to put you all to work. Last year we had what we believe to be the mother of all pot luck dinners and we hope to repeat that this year.

Everybody will have full hookups (water, 30 amp electric, sewer, digital cable, and WiFi). That is unless you really want to boondock, which is OK too.

We were just up at the park this last weekend and I was strolling around the rally field that we have and have and never really utilize. It's pretty huge and I am sure we could get at least a double wagon wheel formation in the field. So someday I hope to put together a boon docking rally and finally get some use out of the rally field. There's even a creek you could ford to get to the field if you really wanted to
