We pulled out early today as some noticed. We made a good trip over the hill and through the woods to Ligonier. Having the motorhome at IdleWild made things much better. We even got a shady parking spot! Unfortunately, everyone else decided to go to IdleWild today. So, it wasn't the ride everything 5 times like it was last year, but still fun. The moho made the trip home quite well.
When can we sign up for next year?

What a wonderful “Fall Colors” weekend at beautiful Penn Wood Airstream Park, with perfect weather and a great collection of happy Airstreamers, even a visit from Roy and Marie Brosi! Nora and I really appreciated the enthusiastic and tireless efforts of Carl, Dave and their families to make this a fabulous weekend. Frank Yensan’s “scrapple” was a big hit as were Ace’s eggs, and Nora’s apple pie. A group campfire and local fireworks followed the huge potluck dinner Saturday night. The event was topped off Sunday morning with a continental breakfast made up ENTIRELY of orange juice, coffee and the remainder of the last nights DESSERTS. Cake, cookies and muffins, now that’s a BREAKFAST! We’ll be baaack!

Back Home
Well it was a great weekend with beautiful weather, great food, and lots and lots of friends. I hope some of you will take time to post some photos, because with all our running around we had very little time to look for photo oportunities.
I'd like to thank you all again for coming out and making the 3rd Annual Fall Colors Forum Rally such a resounding success.
As we get ready for next year's rally I will send out PMs to all the people that attended or showed and interest. the rally dates are always contingent on What Clarion County does with the dates for the Autumn Leaf Festival. So once we hear from them we will be sure to put it on the rally calendar for early October 2012!
We'll see you on up the road...

Wahoo, what a fantastic rally. Carl, Elaine and Dave did a great job as usual. We met a lot of new people as well a seeing some old friends. Great "Pot Luck" meal was had by all. Frank did his usual eye opener breakfast, assited by Ace once again. If anyone left this rally hungry, I wouldn't know why!! The weather was perfect and yes the fall colors a site to see.
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped to make this a wonderful time at beautiful Penn Wood.

To all who attended the FCR at Penn Wood Airstream Park,
Thank You for making it a success it's great folks like you who make all the hard work and preparation worth while.
Carl and Elaine deserve the accolades, Rory and I and all those who help in anyway follow their lead. It is a labor of love.
Please stop and spend some time at Penn Wood in 2012!
Sincerely,
Dave and Rory

More Pics
What a great rally. Our first...hope they are all this good. Carl and Dave...great job! I've included some pics viewable at this site: MobileMe Gallery
Couldn't ask for any better weather, food was great, people awesome. Happy hour and open house "rocked". A great variety of trailers and motorhomes of all ages. There were even a number of parrots there... Now I know why I bought our "78 - Island Girl". Happy Trails...

Hello Carl,
Been lurking on this thread for several weeks now. Would have liked to go this year but we had a family event last weekend that was "mandatory attendance."
Looks like a nice group and a beautiful park. Would love to attend next year.
Please put us on your invite list and we will mark our calendar.
Thanks!
Happy traveling...

We want to thank everyone who made this rally such a great time. It was good to meet up with some of the wonderful people we met last year at the rally.
We'll definitely make this an annual event.
