Like Frank said the schedule is relax, followed by more relaxing.

Seriously though, the schedule is pretty loose because lots of folks like to take in the street fair, parades, etc going on in Clarion. Besdies that there's Cook Forest and the Alehgeny National forest and so many other area attractions.

We do plan on having happy hours on the patio and a bon-fire every evening, we have plenty of seasoned firewood. If it rains the enclosed pavilion has a large fireplace and we can move the bon-fire inside. There will be hospitality Friday evening, probably ice cream sundaes, pop-corn, etc. Saturday we plan on having a progressive happy hour / trailer open house which has been pretty popular the past two years. There will be a full breakfast Saturday morning with eggs to order, pancakes, bacon, corned beef hash, scrapple, OJ, etc. Sunday we'll have a continental breakfast. Saturday evening we are going to have a pot-luck meal. We will provide the main course and everybody should bring a side dish or dessert. last year's pot luck was what many have called the mother of all pot-lucks and is still talked about at Penn wood around happy hours and bon fires. There was so much good food it's hard to describe. Last year we packed the pavilion with over 100 airstreamers and it was a blast. I have also been busy soliciting door prizes to give away Saturday immediately after the pot luck. Ace Goldberg may be exempt from the drawings this year since he and his family seemed to run away with a lot of the prizes last year.

Lou and Larry Woodruff have made a trip to Alaska this year and I've asked them to give us a litte slide presentation of their trip so we can look forward to some nice pictures and take a vicarious trip to Alaska with Lou and Larry.

This is just a good old fashioned rally where you can do as little or as much as you please. And we hope to show everybody a great time.

What is a progressive happy hour/trailer open house? I'm new to all of this so I imagine it is where we get to visit everybody's trailer and have a drink at each one. With a hundred trailers we should all get pretty faced. I will be out at the third trailer or so because I'm a lightweight but it does sound like a good challenge. Steve G

Steve,
You're guess is pretty much spot on. It's a chance for everybody to show off thier coaches, meet new people, get some ideqas for your own coach, have some munchies, and have a few adult beverages if on is so inclined. I guess we could call it a trailer cralw too.

Well the reservations have been rolling in. So far I've received rally fees for 16 trailers and I know there are more on their way. We can gaurantee full hookups for a total of 23 Airstreams. And I am in the process of geting permision from 10 lessees (who do not keep a trialer on their site) to use their sites. We also have 4 overflow sites that have all the hookups except sewer that can be used. So if you're planning on attending please get your form and rally fee in the mail to ensure a full hook up site.

Ours went in the mail today. It is one of those you know are on the way...

Thanks for volunteering Ace.

I am sure we can use you both around the griddle for Saturday morning breakfast. Other than that you guys just relax and let us show you a good time. You did so much for the Birthday Bash II that you've earned a relaxing rally.

Oh I may need you to get up every once and a while to throw another log on the campfire...That is only if you think you can handle that?

We're glad you'll be attending and that the check is in the mail

It looks like we're going to have quite a few first time rally goers, which is excellent! I'm sure the seasoned veterans will be exited to gather you all into the fold and before long you too will be rally veterans

Carl, I've been waiting and hoping but (sniff) we can't get Friday off - I think it's too long of a drive to arrive on Sat eve and turn around and leave on Sun. So, I'm going to have to wait until next year. It sounds like so much fun, too. Dang.

It's too bad you can't make it this year and I understand completely about making such a trip for one night. There's always next year. When we get ready to plan next year's rally I will be sure to send out PMs to all the folks that attended or expressed an interest in attending.

Well have You thought about the Anniversary/Chili cook off rally at Findlay state park Palmtree girl? It is the end of Oct. You are right down the road from that one.
