Since I won't be there this year to dog Tikihut unmercifully about things of absolute insignificance, and I'm sure his camping experience won't be complete without someone trying to harrass and annoy him about something, are there any volunteers to take over my role this year? I don't want him to be disappointed and miss out...

I will be leaving thursday am if I get my plumbing fixed by then. i have to replace the black water gate valve so it won't leak any more

I have to work this weekend but will bring the trailer home tomorrow afternoon. Time to do the sanitize the fresh water tank routine.

We've got a couple of Airstream videos that we haven't shown before and this year's movie will be a John Ford directed John Wayne picture called the "Quiet Man". Has one of the best brawl's I've ever seen in a movie! Not everyone has seen this but it's a story of an American boxer (John Wayne) who comes back to Ireland to settle on the family homestead. It's got great scenery, a fun story with a lot of other major actors in it. Very suitable for all ages to view.

Probably not at this point. By the time we get to dusk, show the Airstream flicks then hit the main movie, we are well after 10 pm when we finish. I've got it on DVD also.

Less than a week to go and we are losing the crew!
Oldest daughter has a chance to earn some money this week so she has decided to stay home. #2 is very much undecided now and is trying to find a friend to go along. Since she is famous for changing her mind at the last minute, we won't know for sure who is coming until everyone is in the truck.

We will have a great time anyway. We love having them with us, but sometimes it's nice when they stay home too.

Weather looks decent. Going on year 7 the odds are against us in getting favorable conditions, but this second weekend in June seems to be blessed by the good weather gods each year. Yes we have a 30% chance for us early arriver's on Thursday but the chances of rain go down each day. Saturday pot luck and movie night looks great along with our hot dog fest late Friday afternoon. Looks like we are in the mid 50's each night so warm clothing should be considered. High temps don't look like anything over 80, so open those windows and let the breeze blow through!

Almost ready to go! Last minute issue. I have to go out tomorrow and try to find a thetford sewer connector. We checked tonight and saw that our connector does not fit. Apparently Airstream uses a different one than most SOBs. Hopefully I can find one locally. The airstream dealer is an hour away and I won't have time for that.

You may have better luck finding a Thetford to Valtera fitting -- I believe that our local Walmart carried these at one time. With this adapter, it is possible to use the more common Valtera adapter.

I have one that I don't need anymore. I just replaced all the plumbing in my camper and it is all old stuff
