Post 39 above has the current list. It's time now for a little planning info. As I noted initially, Friday night will be hot dog night so those of you in by 5 pm, come on over to our site at A07 and partake of some hot dogs courtesy of me. I know last year some folks brought along some additional items to share, but that is entirely up to you. For sure I will have hot dogs, buns, and mustard, ketchup, relish along with paper plates. If any of you want to add to that, it's pretty well your choice.

Saturday night is our pot luck meal and it will be held in the A07 area. In this case we are asking you to bring an item to share. That meal will occur at 6 PM followed by some movies on the side of an Airstream. I've not picked what we will see at this point, but I'll eventually get that organized.

To keep folks from bringing too much of the same item please post what you intend on bringing. I'll keep a list updated that you all can see. We normally ask for either a desert, salad or other side item that you can share with 6-8 people. Since there are many likes and dislikes you can bring your own meat dish but you don't need to share that. Normally I might cook some chicken or a steak or a burger for Patty and myself.

If you have questions please ask. I'll be distributing a flyer to everyone attending that will give the schedule for activities. Typically at noon till 5 on Saturday, we have a trailer open house where we open the door for others who like to see what you have done with your unit, or if it's a new one, what it looks like inside.

Oh, and theme???? Make it your own! Yep....that's the theme. What ever tickles your fancy. We started with an Animal House theme for our first, to Flags, Dogs, Birds and I don't remember others. So bring what you want, display it and have fun....I got to see where I put my inflatable parrot..

Looking forward to our first rally! We'll bring something to share on Friday night, will do scalloped corn in the Dutch Oven for the Saturday potluck.

I will plan on bringing Sweet and Sour Meatballs with rice. I will brigning something to pass around on Friday night as well -- just am not sure what at this juncture.

Laird and I are going to provide clip on name badges with the rally logo for the Moraine View rally. If you'd like a badge, please PM us with a list of names of folks in your group who will need badges. We'll be making the badges over the next week or so.

We're also thinking we'll be able to print an 8.5 x 11 placard with your AirForums name for you to post in or by your trailer -- one side of the placard will indicate whether you are "home" and your trailer is available for the open house -- we're still bouncing around ideas for the design of the reverse side of the placard.

Friday is hot dogs at my site around 5 pm. If you want to bring anything it's up to you. It's really not a pot luck like Saturday. Just sort of a welcome from me to all of the attendees.

Our theme is "Pirates of the Chili-bbean." We're bringing chili and rum cake -- in keeping with our pirate theme.

As of now, both of our girls are planning on coming with us. The younger one is worried about having no one to hang out with except her sister. Our girls are 20 and 16. How many other teenagers and children are coming and what are their ages?

Our theme will be "Exhausted Grandparents", we think, having been immersed in 2-12 year olds the past 2 weeks---camping, playing, Brookfield Zoo, children's museum, playing, shopping, playing, and three meals a day. Time well spent.
