There were even three generations of women from the same family
beautifully represented I must say.

It was a really lot of fun and we couldn't have had better weather or nicer people to spend the weekend with. My only regret was that we forgot to get the traditional group photo of all the amazing Silver Sisters together.
Keep those photos coming girls!

Animal kingdom represented
We had some female pets as well.
Cat's cat TT showed us how she felt about Sarah the cat (Michelle's) and Holly the dog (Laurel's) in the second shot...

The "Swap and Shop" worked out well.
We put all kinds of things out on a table and ended up exchanging some really great stuff! It is true that one person's trash is another person's...well...you know the rest. I am quite happy with my Santa Barbara Silver Safari t-shirt. Thanks Meredith! And the great fleece fabric. Thanks Deb!
And since Kristiana won't mention her beautiful jewelry, I will.
Check out SilverTrailer.com...NICE!
It was so great seeing old friends and making new ones.
We're now talking about doing our Women's Rally twice a year...
in spring AND fall!

Wow! 2 dozen silver sisters in sunny California in beautiful surroundings having lots and lots of fun. Love those pictures and want to see more and hear more. Your dress up pictures, you trailer tarts, are a hoot! Glad you all had a fine time. The "swap and shop" sounds like a great idea. Your Eastern sisters here are catching the spirit and once we stop spending our days moving snow from one point to another we'll be heading to Ohio the end of April. Thanks for letting us share your rally. What a tease, but every bit delightful, living vicariously through your adventures, speaking of which...I am dying to hear MORE!

Caution! May not be suitable for all viewers...
Okay folks gather 'round. Come in closer...it's time to dish some dirt.
As Wandering Wanda your Roving Reporter for the Trailer Tramp Monthly
I have some news from the Western Women's front. Although it is generally true that what happens at a rally stays at a rally, I know that inquiring minds want to know...so here goes.
Of course I wouldn't mention any names...
Apparently we had a gate crasher our first night. Someone was seen parking her Airstream outside of a locked gate and jumping on her bike and sneaking in to have a late night cocktail with another Airstreamer. And said rallier later snuck back out and boondocked in a residential area until the gate opened the next morning. I'm sure Kristiana and Meredith know nothing about this.
And speaking of cocktails, a certain pajama clad someone makes one heck of a lemon martini. And Virgina *oops* warned all to be careful because her martinis really pack a wallop. I have to agree and perhaps Lisa may as well since apparently someone who looks a lot like her slept through the goodbyes the next morning. And Cat gave a wonderful lecture about Saki with some tasting included though it was all purely for educational purposes of course.
There were three ladies in housecoats and heels but I'm not mentioning any names Ellen, Emily and Joanne. And ask Evie about the Hello Kitty terry wrap or speak to Sandra about the sparkling cleavage. And you thought only Wanda was trampy. Just sayin'...
Someone reported that Anne single handedly bought out most of the stores in Ojai but I don't believe it because Janet and Malia missed lunch and almost missed the potluck due to over shopping.
There was also someone moonlighting doing a little RV repair on the side at the rally but Michelle knows nothing about that.
Perhaps the most astonishing note of all was the trio of ladies who had an appt. to have their Airstream washed on the way to the rally and drove all the way to the dealership for the appt. only to find that they had forgotten their trailer! Big oops. Can you imagine such a thing Debra, Dana, and Evie? Unbelievable!
So there you have it dear readers. The REAL story behind the story.
Film at 11.

Now that was a fond treat!!! You put the gossip columnists and sensation grabbing tabloids to shame, and all the time maintaining absolute anonymity for person and persons unknown.
Thank you very kindly, sounds like you all had a blast! You might consider publishing that scandel sheet with the "Sin on Wheels" cover, and adding chapters with the fall rally!!!

Ms. Wanda:
I did notice. Very nice, but even the best golf experience rates but a single hubba.

No doubt, we have outdone ourselves this time. The perfect weather, the gorgeous setting, the sounds of all things nature, provided us the ultimate backdrop for the silva sistas rally! To top it off, it was International Women Day on Saturday, and what better way to celebrate then with all these strong, sensible, independent, funny, and inspiring ladies.
I had such great time, and thank you ladies for making this weekend so special and memorable, and also for making Ann feel welcome.
Here's some highlights from breakfast at Meredith and the beautiful backdrop. More to come...

Thanks to all for making us feel at home at our first Airstream rally - we had a great time - what a crazy fun group of ladies! We loved touring all the silvers too. We're looking forward to many more gatherings with ya'all.
Meredith: We LOVE the CD and are looking forward to using the beautiful canopy - thank you, thank you!
We're in wine country (Santa Ynez Valley) so consider yourselves invited to park in our "trailer park" (more like a trailer dump!) and we can hit the many fabulous wineries in our sunny valley.
Until next time,
Ellen, Joanne & Emily

Airstream sighting
We happened to spy an Airstream heading south on PCH in Santa Monica at 3:39 pm on Sunday....it was driven by a big red truck. Rumor has it that it was Cat and company after the rally.........this is such a small town.....fancy seeing you there.
Sounds like the rally was so much fun.....hope to make the fall one. paula
