That was a typo - it was suppose to read "IT WAS GOOD" - But I guess the original statement still stands "I WAS GOOD", meaning that was the only dessert I had that night - too bad, there were many other goodies on the table. Too much food, Too little time......

It was raptorron's wife that brought the lemon ice box, I would love to have that recipe.

I'm talking about the two with mile hi toasted marang <sp

The ones with almonds around edge were good too.

I don't want the recipe...
I want to follow you to other rallys with pot-luck.

Regarding the pie under the Key? Yes I brought two of them, more like bought them. It was my intent to make lemon ice box pie, but when I got ready to do it there just wasn't enough room in my baby frig. Remember we're the ones with the 16' Bambi. So I went to the famous Publix Bakery and got their key like pie. We plan to go to the Georgia Rally in April, but you don't have to wait that long. Just visit your local Publix.

Great Rally

Devoman we had such a great time at the Can Opener (our first rally) that we are planning to be at the Springstreams Rally in GA. Will have to call tomorrow and make reservations. Have just read that thread and the spaces are going fast. Looking forward to seeing you there!

I really have to say that the "SOB"'s that were there were real nice to all of us. Some even joined in the fun, I got to tour two of the big class "A"'s there and they wanted to peep in the Airstream. The giant class "A" next to us was a gem of a MOHO, and the other one on the center street was even grander. They could of objected to the large group of parties that accumulated across the street from them but instead were real nice and "snuck" over for some snacks and popped in for the movie (which was great). They were great - Topsail really does not seem to pull in the low end SOB's.

I can confirm what clancy boy says. A couple even stopped by our site, when a group was there, and told us to get the park to let us use the clubhouse if it rained on our pot-luck. They knew it was available and thought the park would let us use it if we asked. We didn't need it though.

Yeah, the SOB in 163 turned out to be a cool couple from Kentucky. Clancy Boy and I let them in on the SOB jokes. They thought it was hilarious. We almost talked them into putting a sign in the front Moho window ~~ "We're the SOB in 163". What great sports.

Spot Check

Imagine how great it would have been if we had an unused lot to spread out all the food with room to mingle and...
Oh wait...

We did!

Thanks to ?? that left us their spot to use, it turned out to be a great idea.

Maybe we should all chip in for a spot like that next year.
We could even set up movie screen and pig out all night.

I'm all for it too. It was certainly worth its weight in aluminum to have that extra site.

BTW, Max and Georgia. Don't you have some pics of that grandbaby by now? You've got to share one with us.

2008? hey come back now!!!! Still here. Everyone I had the best time, it was too short and you were all so terrific. I wish it could have gone on and on. I have never seen soooo much great food. I wish I had had more time to get to know each and every one of you. Devoman, and well, everyone, thank you so much for making such a wonderful rally.

(There were a couple of people who wanted a recipe, pm me and I will see that I get it to you.) I would post it but YOU ALL were probably just being polite.
