Didn't know about October, I need to find a place where all the rallies are listed-we're too new at this.

We arrived safely in Ft. Pierce, via St. Augustine, today. We had a great time and are trying to recover from the four potlucks. It was fun putting faces with forum handles. Marilyn enjoyed her shopping trip with Linda. Thanks to Herb for the polishing demo. The rally has me ready to start working on our rig. We really enjoyed Topsail. What a great park. Next year we will arrive with appropriate Razorback paraphanalia to counter the hex from the other SEC fans.

I also want to thank Herb for the polishing demo and all the help he so willingly gave us vintage owners. I learned so much from so many at this rally and found help on understanding everything from pex tubing to towing to healthy living. I regret not having a chance to meet everyone. There's always next year. In the mean time there's the Georgia Springstream Rally April 20-22. Glad to see some of us Can Openers will be there. Y'all come on down . . . or up . . . or over, whatever the case may be.

Got a couple of questions. Who gave the polishing demo? And, who's trailer is that with the white-side-wall tires and the cool vintage awning. Klattu called it something like "the essence of cool". I think he is right on the money, that is a great one.

Thanks Jim & Susan, that's my 1960 Tradewind. Hope to see you at the the Georgia Springstream. And that was Herb (jbond) that gave the polishing demo. He has a cool 1963 Globetrotter that has been polished and restored towed by an awesome 1963 Suburban.

Jim and Susan, Herb is the man he explained the whole process as he polished our trailer. Took awhile to find a spot where the clearcoat was missing. But let me tell ya when I finish (when I finish) how cool it will be.

Who is Responsable?
OK...can't get this out of my mind.
Who made these pies?
I know they did not come out of a factory!
Never tasted lemon (I think) so good,
Makes all the ones before lame-on in comparison.
I'm talking about the two with mile hi toasted marang <sp
The ones with almonds around edge were good too.
I don't want the recipe...
I want to follow you to other rallys with pot-luck.

I tried that. It didn't work! Then someone would come by and say, "Did you try so and so?" I was so stuffed! So much great food!

Lemon Pie
One of the pies where lemon, and I woulddddd love to know who made it to. I'm sure it has won many rewards if not you need to put it in every county fair in the country!!!!!!! Preston's wife made me try a piece and i'm so glad she did. I also had the bread pudding with JD sauce and it was great also.

Been away from the boards for a little while so I haven't had a chance to respond. I made both of those pies. They were Key Lime pies from a recipe I got from "A Taste of Tampa" about 20 years ago. I'm more than happy to share the recipe with anyone who wants it. Key Lime is my wife's and my favorite desert and the only pie I know how to make. In fact, I got the recipe so I could make it for Becki while we were dating!
We have already reserved site C-1 at the "Springstream" rally in April and I will bring one, or two, then if you twist my arm.
We plan on coming to the Can Opener next year, too, so don't anyone reserve site #154 because I want it again next year!

By the way, I meant to ask at the rally if it was too late to order t-shirts. With holidays and everything I didn't get to order any for us and I would like to get one for each of us...maybe even one for Sulley. I can't remember the web address to order them from and haven't had time to go back through the last 75 pages of post to hunt it down.

Yeah...well...I had the 1st piece! and it was BIG.
On my first taste, I got up, and got back in line.
The to-go boxes were a great idea too...should have used more than one.
