Just wondering. Here in Kennesaw we have a pilot at our county airport who over flies the area regularly and has taken overhead photos on request. He even gives you the negatives. Is there any such thing there in your area? Maybe we could get an areal photo of all the Airstreams.

I am not aware of any such service here, but I could possibly check around. I don't know how good a photo from the air would be. The tree cover at the RV park is such that you might not even be able to tell that there are Airstreams down there.

If anyone is interested in Post Rally Photo Contest I will contribute a plaque to be awarded to the best photo of the rally as voted on by the forum. I will let others work out the details but I envision something on this order. For 30 days after the rally participants can post their pictures, a committee, group, or someone other than me can pick the best 3 or 4 pictures and then the forum can vote on their choice. This is a contest which you are not required to be at a certain location at a certain time. It will promote the rally for next year and allow everyone to share memories with each other after the Rally. Please respond if you are interested are have additional input.

Jim, I think that is a great idea! Whether there is a contest or not doesn't much matter to me, but posting the photos will promote for next year or other events, and will be a good way to share photos of the event with each other! Great thinking!!

We are on the count down we leave New Years Eve and head for the Mississippi coast to visit family a few day's. Tuesday we will leave there and head over to Pensacola to the aviation museum for the day and then on to Top Sail Tuesday afternoon. I can't believe the wait is almost over. The only thing there is ice in the forecast for next weekend here so we have our fingers crossed.

Hey All,
I have been out of touch with the forum for a week due to work and getting ready for the holidays and my oh my has the thread grown this should be one of the largest threads on the forum. Also I was reading trying to catch up on where I left off and noticed that Devoman said that Rich Luhr was coming and I am not familiar with him but going by what ya`ll were saying I figured that he might be a big wheel with the Airstream company or with the Airstream life magazine and I maid this comment to my wife and she walked over to the Christmas tree and brought me a package and it was a Airstream Life magazine and a years subscription yet to come

.So needless to say I was looking through it and put it all together . I think that is great that we will have a celebrity like that we might even be featured in the next issue. From what I have read so far it is a great magazine and I am looking foward to more.

Please help me explain to my wife what is happening and _when_. I see a Potluck, I see a Breakfast, I see Raffle Prizes...

I work Friday and we would not be able to get there until Saturday afternoon, and leave Monday. We hate being late to stuff, and feeling like "third man out" (so to speak) where all the people seem to already know each other, and have split into their respective cliques. Hmmm.

I logged into TopSail reservations (http://www.reserveamerica.com/fl/Topsail_Hill/Campsite_Map/r/campgroundMap.do?&agency=FL&parkId=1250&camparea=6 7), and 105, 109, 111, 115, 124, 127, 129, 135, 142 and 155 seem to be available still (Sat night/Sun night). 105 is closest to the bathroom, which is nice. We still might be able to get there...
