What size LP connector is this? (Leaking pigtail)

I've read all the threads and can't find a definite answer! Please take a look.

I filled the tanks on our 2019 FC. When I reinstalled everything the hoses started leaking, as luck would have it. I guess it's a wear item...

Took one of the hoses off:
- Cavagna, 350psi
- Seems to be 10" long (about 11-12 including the connectors)
- Has a connector on the regular side that resembles 1/4" NPT... yet the orifice is smaller

So what do I have? Should I order NPT, or the "reverse flare" type? Very confused. All the images of NPT I see have a larger hole in the middle. Note that the threads do taper, suggesting it is in fact still NPT.

Mine looks just like the one on the left, from this Amazon item
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KRMQ7VS...3-94bc9dc02768

However on a Camco hose they show NPT like this, note much bigger inside diameter

And here is mine. Some kind of hybrid? Yet it was Airstream OEM equipment.
No direct replacement parts available, of course!

The one you have now is NPT. (note, edited my post to wait for other responses)

If you have the two tank auto changeover regulator, you need the Flare.👍
It appears you don't have a regulator that requires a flare seal.

Yes, my regulator has the auto-changeover. Yet that hose connects directly into the regulator.

Fastest way to get it fixed, and get it fixed right: go to a well-stocked "Fireplace Shop". I needed to refit my old SOB trailer's propane connection system, and I was able to walk in / walk out in 10 minutes with all the right stuff, plus the right thread sealer for gas (which is not in any way the same stuff as for water, and NEVER teflon tape).

Interesting - my original regulator was NPT - when I replaced it last year the new one was flare, so I had to buy new pigtails. Probably best new all round....

Since you have the hose off, go to a well stocked hardware store and visit the plumbing section.

Hopefully they will have a selection of brass fitting that you can match up to or by eye or by figment. Anything that requires more than hand tight is not the proper fit.

Note, sometimes customers return items to the wrong bin, so try several different fittings to be sure.

Propane distributor, Fireplace store or camping/RV supply store.
Sometimes it's quicker, easier, safer and/or cheaper to shop local.
