External valve to run your camp stove or generator off of trailer propane.

That's a Duesenphlopper valve. It's important to leave it in the position shown unless you're going to connect your Duesenphlopper.

Here’s another version. This one is a 3/8 inch Deusenphlopper valve I use to run a Champion dual fuel inverter generator.

Note that this is not a standard one, but it was installed courtesy of the Department of Overkill Engineering.

These are low-pressure outlets, so you'll have to remove regulators on any burners you want to use. I have a small propane grill, and a propane fire pit, and had to remove the regulators that came with them. But, they work great. I see other campers using separate propane bottles for their grills/pits, but with this outlet, you don't need to do that . . .

It’s for a propane hose with quick connection to hook up an outside propane source saucy as a heater or grill.

PS. Make sure you always replace the blue plug or you will get a stone lodged in it. I learned that the hard way

If you are going to use one of these valves get one that has a lockout and an on/off valve. It will not let you turn on the valve unless you have it plugged in securely. I have three in/on my trailer: one on the tongue for the generator, another near the steps under the awning for the fire pit or grill, and one inside for the catalytic heater. It sure make propane use handy.
