Single 3/8 in gas line feeding stovetop and heater?

I am replacing propane lines. Using 1/2 inch black pipe from tanks then 3/8 into trailer.
At this point I have the black pipe with a ball valve waiting to attach a 3/8 line up into the floor.
I want the one 3/8 line to feed both the stovetop and a catalytic heater (Big Buddy).
Should I
1) Tee off of the black pipe and run two lines up through the floor, or
2) Run one line through the floor and tee off inside the trailer (underneath kitchen cabinet)?
or - some other idea?
