A drip leak on the bottom. My initial thought is to first try a patch with marine-tex, which I have used previously on boats with success. I have priced a replacement tank, so that is another option. If someone has replaced a tank, knowing what to expect would be helpful.
Is the leak from a crack or a loose fitting? There is a cleanout bung in the bottom of the tank that is prone to leak. I am trying to determine if the tank is the problem or not. With most tanks you remove the metal pan and it drops out. The problem occurs when the bolts holding the pan are frozen and they snap off when you try to remove them. The replacement tank needs to be exactly the same shape as the old tank which is unlikely unless you got the replacement tank from Airstream.
We also have a 94/34. We had a cracked drain fitting on the tank, causing a slow drip. From looking at the tank, I think this is one likely cause, and much easier to fix. I would try to isolate the source if you can before taking the tank out.
