Propane tank leaking

I have a 345 classic airstream motorhome 1985.
I have owned it since new. It developed a slow leak on the neck of the fill valve between the valve and the tank. Does anyone know where I can get a new or used propane tank??.
Airstream factory says they don’t have any to fit it.

Have you tried your local full-service propane dealer? They can likely order whatever you need if it's still available. I'm not talking about a box store that sells propane stuff, but a proper full-service propane shop.

No price listed….usually means Not In Stock.

Tractor Supply is selling 30 lb. tanks this week for $109.

Here’s an Amazon link of In Stock tanks: https://www.amazon.com/Flame-King-YS...08XYJ7YQV&th=1

This thread is for a permanently mounted tank on a motor home.

NOT a portable tank for a trailer.

Motorhome tanks are available, even on Amazon. I think you'll likely want to have it installed at a full-service propane outfit near you. Fixed-mount, horizontal tanks in the US are ASME certified (rather than DOT) and come in various sizes. Just do a search for "motorhome propane tank" on your favorite search engine to chase down the leads.
