propane sensor on tanks 89 Excella 25

Both tanks have some kind of sensor attached to the tank to send a signal to the display over the galley. The display has two toggle switches one for each tank.

I have asked service people if they can be fixed and told not to attempt to remove as the base is welded to the tank.

The electrical connection seems to be attached to a removable plastic piece.
trying to find out if this sensor can be replaced and where to find them.

Tank 1 shows a reading not accurate as i have just topped off both tanks.
Tank 2 shows nothing.

Thanks in advance for info!

I'd probably skip the repair and buy the Mopeka propane sensor two-pack. It has its own monitor that I never use because it is Bluetooth capable. Sends the info to an app on my phone.

+1

I’m happy with the Bluetooth Mopeka tank monitor using just a smart phone — no fixed display.

Hard to beat the Mopeka. You can find it here: https://amzn.to/3Dbhovb
