Please Help! Magic Chef Countertop stove low flow

I just recently purchased a 1969 Soveriegn 31'. It has a 3 burner magic chef countertop stove, but all of the gas lines have been removed. I have replaced the lines and I installed a new "camper style" low flow regulator, since there was no original. The stove lights, but has a teeny tiny flame and only enough flow to support one burner. Where the 69's a higher flow regulator? What is the operating pressure for the magic chef model 34?

Thanks a ton!

The LPG regulator output pressure should be 11 to 13 inches of water column.

Usually it's better to set the regulator closer to the 13.

David,

I do believe that the 1969 model will have had a higher pressure regulator than the new low pressure camper ones. Find out what the settings are on your current one and if it is adjustable.

Airstream used the same Fisher LPG regulator from the early 60's to the late 80's.

It was never to be set to exceed 13 inches of water column pressure.

Mebbe there's a kink somewheres in the gas line.

Or, that juice they add to LP gas to make it smelly, (what's it called again? Oh yeah, thiophene) maybe there is an excess of it in the lines causing a blockage of some kind...
