I will be running only 2 appliances on propane: a 2-burner cooktop and a 5 cu ft fridge, which are located about 10 ft from the propane tanks (as the crow flies).
I have decided to run yellow plastic coated copper tubing as the main line from the tank.
My question is whether 3/8" OD from end to end will do the job, which is the simplest to accomplish from a fittings perspective -- or whether 1/2" OD is advisable to the point of the branch off.
I guess the real question is whether I would notice the difference in day to day use.
But first check what was there originally and use that as your guide.
For example, I'm replacing some lp lines the PO of my 81 Excella 280 diesel apparently cut out when he replaced the range & furnace. I'll use 3/8 coated lines like you mentioned as 3/8 was originally there. Beyond that, everything else uses 3/8 line. Trusting Airstream sized the system appropriately, I believe you would not have any supply issues.
Hope that helps.
