Marshall pigtails with 3/8" male fitting

I have a 2008 International 27FB CCD, FB. Trying to replace 12 inch gas pigtails. The male connector is 3/8" , NOT 1/4" which seems to be the only one sold now. I have searched and searched everywhere and called several AS dealers to no avail. Is an adapter the way to solve this?

Pipe fitting adapters

Without a photo, I am unsure which adapter you need. Here are links to several that might work:

Amazon.com: Anderson Metals Brass Tube Fitting, Coupling, 3/8" Flare x 1/4" Female Pipe: Industrial & Scientific

Amazon.com: Anderson Metals Brass Tube Fitting, Half-Union, 3/8" Flare x 1/4" Male Pipe: Industrial & Scientific

Amazon.com: Parker 6-4 RB-B Brass Pipe Fitting, Reducing Hex Head Bushing, 3/8" NPT Male X 1/4" NPT Female: Industrial & Scientific

Amazon.com: 3/8" NPT Male to 1/4" NPT Male Brass Pipe Hex Reducer/Reducing Nipple Fitting/Adapter: Industrial & Scientific

If none of these are the right one, there are links on these Web pages to other adapters.

Note: All of these are standard fittings available from Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc.

Sounds like you need a 3/8 to 1/4 bushing if the new pigtail is 1/4 and you current female connection is 3/8. That is a very common fitting that any Big Box should have

Replace the regulator with a new one with 1/4" inverted flare inlets.

Two-Tank Regulator

Gas pigtails are inverted flare and cannot be adapted to NPT with bushings.

2Goldens,

Did you find success? If so, how? I have a FEW days before I depart for the high country and I MUST find this solution, and I'm in the middle of nowhere! Just spent another $40 per week for internet to resolve this. I'm in a '78 international TW. HELP! My "fix it" guys here are all under the influence of beauty and "I'll be there tomorrow" is usually followed by "I went climbing/hiking... sorry". Connector or new regulator? (I thought my regulator was new??). Thanks for any info!!

Sassy
