LPG extension hose for Blackstone
Hi all,
I promise I've searched, but am having no luck! I've ordered two extension hoses now (from Amazon) for my Blackstone 17" and both of them have arrived with a 5/16" female end (the male end is fine -- goes to the quick connect).
I figured the first hose was just a mistake....but to have two hoses, both showing up with a 5/16" threaded female end? That makes me think I'M the problem. (What's that quote about "when it seems like everyone is the a-hole, you're the a-hole"?)
My understanding is that I need a 3/8" female threaded swivel end.
First I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And then bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Both of them even have a little grey tag that says 5/16".
Yet both of those Amazon listings says they are 3/8" female!
Am I missing something, did I just have two inaccurate sellers?

Blackstone low pressure for Airstream
I have searched but found no posts on connecting the Blackstone to the low pressure outlet on the Airstream. My Weber can do it because it depends on the AS regulator. Is there a Blackstone that will do that. I do not want to either connect to the propane tank directly or carry an extra tank.

I believe it's the same for the new trailers that came with it, as it is for everyone that has added it to their trailer. I have the same line that supplies gas for the stove & water heater provide to the quick connect I use for the Blackstone, firepit. It uses the onboard regulator.

The Blackstone 17 inch and 22 inch portables both are easily hooked up to your LP hose from the trailer. All you need is the adapter (and hose which it sounds like you have already). The 17 inch has very uneven heating, the 22 inch is no great, but much better. My travel buddy who does most of the cooking, sold his 17 inch to a co-worker and now uses a Camp Chef with a griddle over one of the burners. I still have my 17 inch but haven't used it in quite a while, as he and his wife do most of the cooking and I supply the salad ;>)
DOZYANT 1/4 inch RV Quick Connect Adapter Conversion Fitting Elbow for Blackstone Tabletop Grill - 17 Inch and 22 Inch Portable Gas Griddle
If you don't have a hose, this one would work, as it is the adapter and a 12 ft hose
DOZYANT 12ft RV Propane Quick Connect Hose with Elbow Conversion Fitting for Blackstone 17inch and 22inch Table Top Griddle - 1/4 inch Safety Shutoff Valve & Male Full Flow Plug
This connects on in place of the miniature regulator and tube that comes with the griddle for use with one pound bottles.

Just to be clear, there is no regulator required between the AS port and the Blackstone? The Blackstone comes with a regulator that would not be in place in this configuration.

Correct. The gas pressure at the AS port is already regulated by the trailer regulator.
