LP Propane line?

I replaced the regulator, pigtail, and bottles. What is the proper product to use from the regulator to the main copper line, about 24". It now has the old style ribbed copper flex like you might see on your home hot water tank. seems there should be better. rubber coated something? , thx

It is common to use rubber hose from the regulator to the main copper line, I think it's 1/2". Buy them premade or go to you local propane dealer and they will make one for you.

IMO, I would never use a house style ribbed flex line.

my copper line ends with a flare connection

purchased from Amazon, the rubber line to go from the regulator npt thread to the flare
use the thread wrap on the npt side only, and make sure it is the one for gas.
usually yellowish in color
