I have a Suburban LP furnace. 35 yrs old. Valve sticks open, can fix, repair man says dangerous and capped it. Mfg doesn't exist any longer. How can I find the folliwing valve for

And for those who are short in the brain wave scenario can you explain more about what type of valve? Is it on a gas line, into the unit, totally mechanical or connected to an electric wire?
For the folks like me if you can attach a picture so we can understand what we are helping with.

Thank you for helping. My repair man said the gas valve was to an electrical wire 12v DC.. He capped the gas line to the furnace as a safety measure. Valve was stuck open.
I think I have to pull finance out to get pic. Should have done so when it was out. My bad.
