is there turn on valve for gas cooktop?

I have been trying to light my cook top. Electric things are arcing pretty good. I can not hear or smell any gas coming out.

Try it with a lighter first to see if they light. You may have to unscrew the burners and clean them out.

There may be a shutoff valve either under the trailer where the gas goes up to the range, or inside the cooktop. Raise the cover and look where the gas comes in. Usually you turn the handle of that kind of valve to be in line with the gas pipe inlet and outlet to turn them on.

Mine is under the cook top. Just lift up from the front (it is hinged), the valve is right there at the front. Mine is a 93 so it could be different but a valve is likely somewhere handy.

I read all manuals

It is ceramic top with 2 burners looks new. Manual states only if shut off valve if required lol. Now I need to find access to cooktop.

Ours is hard to light after non-use or tank fill, does take some time to bleed the air from the lines. We find it helpful to use a butane match to speed the process.
