The PO of my Argosy installed an auto-changeover regulator. It's sold as Camco 59003, but on the actual housing of the regulator underneath the self-destructing plastic cover it's labeled ACR6, which I find is manufactured by TPA Gas (tpagas.com) but I can't find out much in the way of detail.
I started looking into this because I have some iffy performance on the gas appliances... the water heater pilot has gone out a couple of times (on not particularly windy days) and the refrigerator doesn't stay lit on the road. I got a water manometer and found that I only have 9 inches of water at the test port on the water heater when the main burner is in operation, and my impression is that it should be 11, though the label on the Atwood says 10.
Here's the regulator, without and with the cover:
There's no apparent cover for an adjuster screw, the tiny hole in the front seems to be covered with glass or acrylic, and I'm loathe to take the whole thing apart the day before a trip because I like hot showers.
Anyone with experience with this regulator? I'll definitely look for better-accessible adjustment if/when I replace this one.
