We had to fill a tank. Had to take off the tank cover.
Now we are not 100% certain how the cords are supposed to look at the bottom of the tank. There is a small opening there. Does the 7 pin cord, the brake away cord, and the jack power cord all feed through there? Can you please post a picture ? Thanks.
I’m not at my trailer right now so no pic. But I’ve got my 7-pin cable coming out BEFORE the propane tank cover and the jack and emergency brake cable fit under the semi-circle cut in the bottom of the cover. I put a length of hose around those particular cables after the cover cut in to them over time. I can’t fit those plus the 7 pin in that slot. Hope that helps for now without pics...
Here’s my version. The jack power cable harness is wrapped in a heavy hose I purchased at Home Depot and slit lengthwise to cover the harness (which had been cut by the half-Moon cutout on the tank cover). The 7-pin now comes out under the cover - no part of the cover touches the 7-pin.
