We have had the furnace fixed 3 times because of mud daubers,
We have screens on and they have not been off since first repair and removal
Of mud daubers.
The first time OK city and they but screens on to keep them out.
Told us completely fixed.
Second time airstream Mesa Az removed daubers and said screens secure.
Just had it at service again! Same problem.
Has anyone else had this problem ? How are they getting in?
Put more in the furnace repair then a new one.
Thanks for any info.
It does not take much of a gap for a mud dauber to get inside. Propane smell attracts them. Inspect screens to be darn sure there are no gaps anywhere.

Thanks
Airstream has checked screens every time and said there is no way daubers
Got through. Service said that’s the only way in, but if that’s true how are they still getting in?

So you obviously have the screens in place from your posts.... Have you checked to see that the furnace housing is not bent so they are getting in from an edge? Opening and closing the housing can leave it less than flat...in my experience. So I always check to see that doing my maintenance I haven't left an open corner for critters.
My refrigerator wouldn't work on propane because they packed the burner tube.
We have the standard large sized mud daubers that build the mud tube condos and we have little ones that will pack a hole the size of a BB.
