Domestic Thermostat

Anyone know how to really set this interior thermostat? I have a 2017 27FB that has dual ducted air. When on shore power that is only 30amp you are only supposed to run one of the ac units. I am having trouble setting the thermostat to run only one. Should the program on both units be off? When I try to set only one Zone to run they both end up coming on?

I know I probably am a bit of an idiot when trying to program this but need help.

Decide which AC you want to run, Zone 1 or Zone 2. Push the top left button on the thermostat to start process. Then press the zone button so the one you want off is showing. Then just keep pushing the mode button until "Cooling" is not showing and "Off" is showing. That's it.
