Does the Micropulse Monitor Panel Monitor LP?

Hello,

I'm looking at purchasing my 1st AS and I notice the monitor panel has labels for LP1 and LP2. Does it really have sensors for the LP tank?

Thanks

Kelvin

Micro pulse makes several different monitors and sensors. Just because it says LP1 and LP2 does not mean it's hooked up or even active.
FYI - my Micro Pulse has never worked right. Fresh water, grey water and battery monitor work fine. The black water has never worked. I had it repaired twice before I just gave up.
I wouldn't give much weight as to what kind tank monitor system is installed. None of them are very good.

Yep

Kelvin

Not certain about older models, but our '11 does have sensors on both tanks.

AND, they work very well, unlike some of the holding tank and water tank sensors.

Have a great time!

Bill

Our 04 has it for both LP's and that along with the battery are the only ones that work. The tank monitors do nothing.

It depends on the Airstream. Classics have float gauges in the LP tanks, while other models do not (unless this has changed).

The float gauges can be read directly by looking at the gauge where it is mounted at the top of the LP tank, and they also have sending units that connect to the Micropulse monitor. They are accurate and are a great convenience.

Exact same story here too.
