Go online to a company called "Torjik" that has complete "quick disconnect" kits to convert your Weber grill to hook up to your low port Airstream. It's easy and they also include a hose with the kit as well. We did this, and are very satisfied! You may want to also acquire a long Q.D. hose to allow you more set up flexibility. Good luck!

We have connected our Weber Q directly to our rig's propane port. Love the convenience of not having to carry/store another propane tank. On small dissatisfaction is that the gas flow from the rig's low pressure propane system results in a lower than desires flame level. That said, I still like it.

Here is the hose you need to connect the grill to the trailer propane port. For the safest connection, this has a shutoff on one end of the hose and your Airstream has another.

You don't want to blow yourself up!

Note that this is the standard 1/4 inch quick connect setup.

Connecting Weber Q 1200 grill to Airstream LP

Note that this is my 3/8 inch quick connect setup.

This reliably supports a 3400 watt Champion Dual fuel inverter generator. The generator propane hose regulator setup has been modified to run off either the low pressure port or a propane bottle directly, as desired.

My 2007 Airstream did not come with any quick connect port. I added this setup myself. It’s documented in the “which generator” thread. I went with 3/8 quiche connectors and a larger 1/2 inch propane low pressure hose to assure the flow to the generator would be sufficient at the end of 24 feet of hose.

I have two 12 foot hoses with quick connects to get the generator noise and fumes far away from us when in use. The power cable just reaches that far.

I still need to add a few clamps to keep things steady. Note the large diameter ‘split loom’ tubing on the rubber hose that leads to the regulator going off on the right in the top picture. This is to keep UV light off the hose to make it last longer.

I included a 1/4 turn propane rated shutoff valve for the quick connect, and another for the entire propane supply for emergencies. Quicker than trying to get to the tank valves.

is there Ean adapter for the grill side of the hose that comes in the parts box from airstream? We got the Weber Q1200 and a caravel 19 cb 2020 airstream. I can fibrous out the hose on the trailer side for the quick connect, but not to the grill.
