Can I use my grilling tanks?

Another question for ya'll. Can I take my two tanks I use for grilling and hook them up to my airstream? The previous owner modified the rings to fit the same size but I don't know about DOT requirements etc...

Also, here's the old regulator, should I try to clean it up and use it or are there new requirements for regulator?

Thanks again everyone!

Jeph,

No problems there, with a few caveats:

* Be sure that your grill tanks are equipped with the new style OPD valves.

* Get yourself a 2-stage, auto change regulator (I especially like the Cavagna model 70-A-190-0016)

You should be good to go from there...oh!....and a couple of new pigtails to connect the tanks to your new regulator wouldn't hurt either.....
