Seems almost too stupid to mention, but dealers are notorious for sending you down the road with almost empty propane bottles, so check them first. In really cold weather pressure can fall, so try opening both tanks. Do it slowly, as OPD valves shut off if pressure drops too suddenly ( like a hose splitting). Next, every gas appliance SHOULD have its own cutoff valve for maintenance purposes. Check to make sure yours is fully open on the Alde. ( valve parallel to the line). If you are using the stove top and have the refrigerator on propane that could also cause low pressure. Try running the alde alone. You can turn the fridge off for a couple of ahour if you keep the doors shut.
If you have an electric hookup, a small space heater IS a good backup. As is an antique original Coleman lantern.
