2001 Bambi Furnace Question - Running on Battery

Should I be able to run my furnace while just on trailer battery and not connected to generator or plug in power?

Yes. The blower and control board run on 12vdc. It does draw considerable current. My Sovereign only has one group 27 battery. I can go overnight if I set the thermostat to 60 and still have enough battery to warm it up to 70 in the morning.

I then get the generator going.
