1984 Excella water tanks check

We just bought a 1984 31' Excella and it's currently in RV storage with no hookups. Is there is any way to clean and test fresh and gray water tanks and pipes without connecting a hose? Thanks!

I cannot think of any accurate test that does not require water.

Fresh water testing plumbing, but not the tank itself.

This doesn’t achieve all of your requirements but attaching compressed air at about 40-50 PSI and performing a leak down test can at least find broken pipes and leaking fixtures.

I made mine from (inlet to outlet assy order) air coupling inlet fitting, ball valve, T fitting, pressure gage, male garden hose fitting.

It doubles as a winterizing blow out tool too.

Idea is to apply regulated compressed air to city water inlet pressurize the entire system then close ball valve to retain air in system and monitor pressure gage.

If pressure drops listen for air hissing. Air cleans up pretty easy and doesn’t rot wood.

But it has limitations for testing water systems but great for testing for leaks.
